My cats got a great buzz on for about 24 hours but then the silvervine seems to lose effectiveness pretty quickly. Catnip seems to work forever, but it has been a couple of weeks and they barely notice these toys. So I emptied the silver vine out and filled them with catnip. The silver vine is even more powerful than catnip, but doesn’t last nearly as long. Surprisingly a day or two at the most. I’ve had a bag of catnip for over a year, and it still seemed to do the trick. A lighter buzz, but a buzz nonetheless…;-)

My fluffy kids absolutely knee what this was in the box... and play with it all the time. Its easy to clean and refill.

We loved the graphics on the toys, a lot of thought and design went into them and they are super nice and well-made. The thing is this... My cat didn't like her new toy, but I did. When I decided to return the toy there wasn't a choice to represent my return accurately. I chose to check the "item was defective" box. I am not liking that there isn't a better option since the item is NOT defective. Rather it is my cat that is defective:) I am sure that a defective return does not do any good for the seller and I am sorry for that. Amazon should add a choice of return that does not negatively reflect on the seller, especially since the user is an animal. A very cute animal at that.

Bought for my grandcat, who only mildly reacts to catnip. He wet all crackhead for a few minutes with this [and he is a senior age cat]; and even tried to get to it thru the heavy plastic zippered bag which the bottles were packaged in. Subsequent playtimes with the bottles have only been mild reactions [acting lovey dovey, an amplified version of his own purrsonality].

The product itself was great. My cat never reacts to catnip but he does to this. But it was not nice having to wif in the marijuana as I opened the package. As someone who cannot fail a drug test, I did not appreciate that very much.
