Maltose - 14.1oz [Pack of 1]

Couldn't find anywhere locally. Used to make a Peking duck. Made a great color and flavor.

Perfect for my Asian cooking recipes. Expensive, but hard to find locally.

Maltose . Very good works very well however it is a little expensive.

Real Chinese maltose. Arrived very quickly. I needed it for a specific recipe but all the Asian supermarkets near me did not have it in stock. So I ordered it from Amazon. Seller is great - delivered as promised and I was able to make my nicely glazed Chinese pork bbq.

I’m not a maltose connoisseur but it seemed to do the trick. It’s sticky like it’s supposed to be, I just wish it had stayed inside the container up until the point where I needed it. Half had leaked in transit.

I use this every other week or so to make char siu pork. It’s easy to work with, and creates just the right amount of stickiness for the sauce. Maybe some day I’ll use it for something else, but char siu pork, pork belly, and chicken never disappoints in our household.

First time buying and using this, since then I used it twice and love the honey-ish sweet taste that it adds to my ribs. I just basted them lightly and wow. You really don’t need much and you dissolve in warm or hot water.

I was vey displeased with the product. It arrived with it's plastic container cracked and the maltose, which is the consistency similar to honey was leaking from the container I attempted to have the probelm corrected, but was advised that the product was not available for either return, replacement or refund
