Play-Doh Fun Factory Deluxe Set

My kids will sit and play this set for an hour or so. It's a great buy, worth $17.99. Included in this set i got are over 27 pieces cutters, no repetition (family-dad/mom/boy/girl/baby, Christmas tree/Gingerbread man, pet/jungle/sea animals, two-shape cutter handles where you insert over the roller with four others to create a nice cutter). Also a press with 2 extruder rails (with 10 patterns), 1 trimmer plastic knife, 1 roller (which isn't great when you have two kids, glad at least i have the same roller from other play doh set). Plus 6 good size can of play doh, Red, Blue, Yellow, Green, Purple & Orange. Very good variety in this set. Enough to keep my 3 yr old daughter and 4 yrs old son (turning 5) occupied. I taught them to immediately put the play doh in the can after play so it doesn't dry out. I don't really have to clean the cutters at all, maybe the alligator cutter occasionally will have play doh stuck in the tail. The biggest task is to clean the press/extruder every use to avoid mixed up of colors. My son is getting use to removing play doh stuck in it, the way i do it but my daughter can't clean it that good so i really need to help them clean.

My nearly 4 year old is at that age when he is getting very creative and he loves Play-Doh. This is a great set. There are so many pieces and it keeps him very entertained. I like the fact that there are 6 pots of Play-Doh as it means I can rotate the colors so that they don't dry out quickly. I would have likes the set to have had more tools other than the knife, but I managed to buy a set of 5 dough tools which he uses all the time. This would be a great gift for someone and at the price I paid, $15.95, very reasonable.

As this was a gift for my exceptionally gifted 3 year old nephew, I am submitting this review as a gifter. Initially I screwed up. I had this sent to my house before the holidays instead of its final destination in Florida. Hours before my flight I thought better of taking Play-Doh on a plane, during the busy holiday season. So I had it shipped again. Long story short, the Play-Doh: Fun Factory Deluxe Set arrived the day I was departing. Beethoven Dali loved it! He would flatten it out, make impressions with the shapes, eat some of it. Obviously much more advanced than other 3 year olds I'm sure. He even remarked that it was like poop when it came out of the press. Anyway, I could go on about our fun times with the "Poop Press" as BD called it but I'm not a braggart. If your looking for quality time with your nieces and or nephews that is not very messy, and don't mind poop comparisons then I would highly recommend this product.

This was a present for my three year old niece. She loved the set. She immediately opened it and started playing with it.Some of the items in the set were of a different color than the one shown on the box. She doesn't speak much, so when she wanted a certain piece she saw on the box, she had a little trouble finding it. The lever on the Doh press can be a little hard depending on the child. My niece is a little hefty so she had no problem with it, but our smaller friend had to exert more force on it. Some of the Doh also stayed inside the machine even after removing the stencil strip. No toys are meant to last forever and if a little Doh gets stuck inside it doesn't really matter because it doesn't affect how the rest of the Doh comes out when squeezed through.The Doh as expected was very pliable to play with (except going through the machine). Admittedly it also depends on the amount and child, but too small an amount and then you don't get a nice long strip of clay like they wanted. The "cookie" cutters were cool to play with, but the rolling pin was a bit of an issue for her so it was mostly used when we could play together. Again, this is possibly dependent on the child and the child's age.All in all, with those bit of issues, it's an awesome gift simply because our niece loved it. Even after she went home, my sister told me she was still playing with it. That's what really counts. Up to today the Doh has slowly "disappeared" as well as a few cookie cutters, but a few refills were bought and she can still use the set.

I ordered this for my 2 year old daughter since she has recently watched some videos with Play-Doh in them and is very curious about playing with Play-Doh. This set is awesome! She loves all of the different colors that come with it. I have only given her a few of the shapes to play with, but she is easily learning how to roll out the play-doh and cut out the different shapes. You get more than your money's worth with this set! I use this to help teach my daughter about animal sounds, shapes, and colors. At the same time that she is learning, she is also getting to use her hands and her imagination to create different animals and "designs". I am very pleased with this purchase.

My daughter absolutely love watching videos of play-doh toys online so when she started asking for some molds to play with we wanted to get her one with as many as possible. This set comes with tons of molds as well as a press and a few cans of play doh. When she received this she played with it for 2 hours straight. It's fantastic to see her using her imagination instead of wanting to watch TV or play on the IPad.The molds are nice and sturdy so you can tell they will last and they are very easy to tell what each one is. My two year old has no problem figuring it out herself. I can see this toy will last us for quite awhile if we replace the play-doh every few weeks.

Class Play-Doh fun set! Play-Doh has so many different sets out there now, but nothing compares to this one. This one is so simple and so fun that the children are forced to use their imagination. The kids are able to make a variety of things as opposed to being limited to just one particular style as the other kits suggest. The Play-Doh that comes with it is a great starter set. I am addicted and must have so much more and of every color though. I would definitely recommend this as one of Play-Dohs best sets!
