Pro-Tek SAB-20 - Chain Adjuster Two Bolt Repair Kit

These chain adjusters were a pain to install but once I drilled out the seized and broken off bolt from the inside of the swing arm (which I had to completely remove from my CR250R to do) they work like they are supposed to. I the only down side is that they tend to loosen back up after a full day of riding. Now that I know this I just check them thruout the day. But it's definitely cheaper than buying a new swing arm for a broken tensioner.

This thing it's a life and $$$ saver, try to have a quote from the dealer to se how much they are going to charge to do this. I did in my Kawasaki KLR 650, one side was bad and I did both sides already to prevent any further problems.

Easy to install and saved me from having to drill out and retap my swing arm. I would buy again in the future if need be.

Works as it's suppose to. But hate that the nut and bolt are American instead of metric like every other part on almost any bike. Have to carry extra tools in the tool kit if I have to adjust it now.

Fast and simple. Stronger than OEM. Stainless steel insert should not rust with the bolt. Suggest you do both sides because the bolt sizes are larger than OEM and it will save time swapping wrenches. I used a strong magnet to get out the remainder of the steel bolt that broke off when my OEM bolts seized.

Purchase experience was great, shipped on time etc. Not completely sold on the product, it works ok but it was not easy to install, unless your a pro mechanic expect a tough installation.
