Just what I was looking forFit and looks great

I always love Converse shoes - but I do like the ones that have a little elastic in the heel area.fits better for narrow feet.

These are just like the ones I remember as a kid but really comfortable. I plan in buying in more colors. Highly recommend.

I will be returning because the back (heel) part is too thin and has no cushion. I am a converse wearer but these do not have the cushion for the heel I'm in search of:( they're a great shoe just that is an issue for me.

These have been a staple in America for decades. They are sturdy canvas that wears extremely well over time. The soles are rubber and glued. After extreme wear, some parts that are glued can get loosened. Shoe goo can be used to make most if not all repairs on these. So they can last longer than nearly any shoe. They make them exactly like they did decades ago, with the same quality, with one caveat, Converse, the iconic American shoes, are now made in China. This may or may not matter to you. It does matter to me, due to labor practices, and environmental standards, which is why I typically buy New Balance shoes, still made in the USA as of 2013. I've worn made in USA converse in the past, but never the new China-made ones. On arrival I couldn't tell any difference in the shoe itself, just as sturdy as ever.On a side note: This particular style is pretty trendy among celebrities. My wife saw this color/style on some female singer and had to have them. Lots of female celebrities buy these "male" high-tops. Which I find interesting, it doesn't look bad at all, but it definitely screams trendiness to me. You can google "celebrity Converse" to find pictures of the myriad of celebs who don Converse. If you do or do not want to be trendy, is your call, but these are definitely being revived in current "pop culture". To my wife, that is great, emulating her favorite artist, to me, I wouldn't be caught dead in them due to that reason alone. Although I thought about buying a matching pair just to confuse her, and be "that" weird matching couple, since pop culture has made them unisex lol.Hope that helps!

I felt that my karma would be bad if I didn't take a moment to describe my experience in dealing with GrandSlamNY. I purchased a pair of Converse All Star's for my girlfriend for Christmas. I got the size she asked for (even took into account the additional information supplied on the site about how the size of this particular shoe runs about a size big. When they arrived they were too big! I THEN checked the return policy and saw that the period had expired (I partied hard during the holidays and the shoes were returned close to 4 weeks after purchase. I sent an email to the owner of the store and he told me to send them back for exchange. I did so and received the new pair 4 days after mailing the incorrect pair back to him. I will do business with them again because, on top of everything, for the size I needed, GrandSlam had the lowest price. Good lookin, David.

Vienen en su caja original y todo está excelente, incluso llegaron en sólo 2 días hábiles. Por lo general, mis calzados son 25 cm, pero por las reseñas de otros usuarios (sobre todo por el tipo de punta que tiene este calzado), opté por unos 25.5 cm y creo que fue la mejor decisión, para que lo tomen en cuenta.

Les converse rouge sont difficiles à trouver au Québec et ceux-ci sont parfaits.
