Absolutely Incredible
Screws on to a 3/8" compression fitting and boom, push fit. It's game changing. I will never use an actual compression fitting ever again.Sharkbite also makes a 1/4" compression to 3/8" push fit which I used on the back of my fridge. It was stupid simple to connect a line between the two afterwards.

High Quality Connector
For some reason this connector seems to be hard to find. Thanks goes to this vendor for making it available at a reasonable price. This Shark Bite connector is the highest quality I’ve found so far. I used it to couple my PEX type water filter line 3/8 o.d. X 1/4” i.d. to the water stop valve under the kitchen sink. My stop valve size is 1/2” female pipe thread “inlet” X 3/8” compression fitting “outlet”. Fit perfectly, hand tight & no leaks. I highly recommend this fitting.

Necessary for Clearly Filtered
This was the missing piece I needed for the Clearly Filtered under the sink water filter running to a dedicated faucet. The faucet fitting inlet is 3/8” quick connect which requires PEX/polyethylene tubing. The filter outlet is 3/8” compression male. So I needed this fitting to be 3/8” compression female on one end and then 3/8” OD quick connect on the other. Couldn’t find this anywhere in stores.

Hard to find adapter to transition from 3/8 inch compression fit connectors to 3/8 inch PEX
My under-counter sink water filter was designed to insert in-between the cold water lines for my sink faucet. Given the high price of replacement filters ($400), I didn't want the filtration system filtering all of the cold water going into my sink. Thus, I decided to put in a separate faucet for drinking water only.To attach the filtration system to a standard filtered water faucet, I needed to transition from a male 3/8 inch compression fitting to 3/8 inch PEX line that press fits into the base of the faucet. This adapter was difficult to find but I was pleased to find this SharkBite U3523LFA Stop Valve Connector on Amazon.It was the perfect solution! My under-sink filtration system now feeds a separate faucet for drinking water only and I will get a lot longer use out of the filters.

Just a warning
If you’re buying this to hook up to your fridge— it’s probably not the right size. The compression fittings on fridges are 1/4”, not 3/8 as this one is. I had to buy an adapter
