I was disappointed. When I punch the keys they are slow to respond....not at all like my other "ClearSounds" phones. I have 3 others. Also, the light doesn't flash when you have a new call. You have to look at the display to see if there are any new calls. It's definitely not as good as my previous phones.

This is a high quality SOS phone. It does what it should to alert a family member that your loved one is in distress and needs immediate assistance when they push the pendant SOS button. The SOS phone will autodial up to five phone numbers - one after the other - until someone is reached. If no-one is reached it starts the autodial sequence again. When you (the family member or gaurdian) receive an emergency call for assistance from someone in distress, and you answer, you can press any number on your phone to commence a two-way hands free conversation with the person who called for help. Nice feature and the hands-free mic on the phone is pretty sensitive although it can really only pick up voice if the effected person is close enough to the base station to have their voice picked up by the microphone. Despite that, you will have been alerted that your loved one needs help and will know that you need to respond even if the person in distress is too far from the base station mic to carry on a two-way conversation.This phone will also allow family members or gaurdians to call in remotely to the phone and commence a two-way conversation if after 10 rings there is no answer. Also nice.Two gripes:1. The number dialing buttons are pretty hard to push for my 86 year old frail mother. The number buttons should be easier to push to input a phone number to dial.2. The velcro wrist strap that is provided for the wrist use of the pendant SOS button is way to large for smaller wrists and the pendant remains very very loose and hanging around my mothers rather small wrist making the button hard to get to. If your loved one is overweight or a large individual than you should have no problem with the pendant strap fitting the wrist. NOTE: There is a neck lanyard that can be used for the SOS pendant but my mother does not like it around her neck...she prefers having it on the wrist.

The phone is ok. but button of the alert is to easy to push. So the people is alway in alert.

This phone sucks. It's not easy to set up. The voice mail light does not turn off when you hit a number to request it to delete. It's too loud. There is no easy way to put in frequently called numbers. If I wasn't past my 30 days I would return it. It's awful.

I ordered this product for my elderly, hearing-impaired mother. It's amplication feature allowed her to communicate using the phone again, which enhanced her quality of life. The big buttons are also good for the elderly, who might have problems with manual dexterity. This phone has a number of other great features, including a medical alert system and a long-range panic button. I recommend this product for those who are hearing impaired and even those who are not because of all the features that come with it. Plus, I thought the price was very good for a superior product such as this.

Works great to notify family incase of emergency, instead of calling 911 every time. I programmed it for our 95 year old family member. She lives that it amolifies automatically when she uses it. And she feels safer knowing if she pushes the sos button someone will come check on her.
