Not sure what you’re going to get from Amazon these days, but returns are pretty simple.Having said that, I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this product from Top Hardware.I originally wanted domed caps, but the selection for the 7’ rail only offered flat caps. I didn’t want to waste rail on the 10’ selection, so I settled for the flat caps.When it arrived, two of the three brackets were the wrong style. I reached out to the seller and they immediately responded that they’d send out the correct style brackets. While I had communications open, I requested they swap the flat caps for domed style. They agreed and sent me the brackets and domed caps AND a shipping return label. Impressive!Installation is simple. Should you need to cut your rail, I suggest using a hacksaw or a porta-band. Probably hire a professional if you are in question. Grinder cut off wheels will get your finish too hot and cause it to tarnish.Next bar I build will be getting a similar foot rail from Top Hardware. Thanks again.

So, read the instructions. The instructions are not easy to find, I think the manufacturer would benefit from sending out instructions that are specific to the product the customer purchased (the instruction pamphlet had a lot of fluff and extra product information and options etc, after I installed MY way I spent a lot of time trying to see where the instructions were and they were there, just not obvious to the reader.Basically, fully assemble the foot rest before marking where to drill pilot holes.I used heavy duty drywall anchors and this foot rest is super sturdy (combination mount). I love the counter space now, it's super comfy to have this foot rest. Helps with circulation in my legs.

Bought this to use at the counter in our new kitchen. The stools are uncomfortable for my wife. The bar makes a proper footrest and now she can sit comfortably.The bar and brackets are excellent quality. Note that there are two types of mounting brackets available. To make the bar higher we used the wall mount rather than the ones that rest on the floor. It should mount into a stud for security.The quality is really top notch and looks great.

Overall it is a good rail. Installation was easy, and it finishes off our bar nicely.The shipping package was ripped in half and barely held together when it arrived, though, and I had to bend the supports to straighten them as they were bent, crooked, and not square out of the package.Overall, I'm happy with it.

received the wrong brackets. first went through amazon but found i would have to return the whole kit. then contacted the seller directly and they shipped out the correct brackets and gave me a free return label for the wrong one in a quick manner. Very happy with their service and the bar rails. Gotten alot of nice compliments on it.

Pleasantly surprised at the good quality here. I didn't know what to expect. I'm at star review on this. Sturdy, good quality, easy to install.

Simple to install and very sturdy
