Transformers Generations Voyager Protectobot Hot Spot Playset

As a HUGE Transformers fan dating back to when they were 1st awakened by the eruption of Mt. St. Helena on the Ark in 1984... the Generations and now the Combiner Wars lines are the best thing since sliced bread. The individual robots have superb detail and some pretty nice articulation. But the quality of the pieces REALLY come out when they are all united into the big boys. Superion, Defensor, Menasor, Ultimate Optimus and Devastator so far. NONE have been a disappointment. BE SURE TO SHOP AROUND THOUGH. There are some sellers who are hoping to capitalize on those who don't know what they're doing by trying to sell the individual teams in complete packages for $50 more than they are if bought separate. There are also sellers asking $80 for a $15-20 toy. BEWARE OF THE OVERPRICED SELLERS!!!! These are the sellers who clear out the shelves at the local stores forcing us to have to purchase online. Let's ALL do our part to ensure that these individuals get stuck with a MASSIVE inventory of toys that they can't get rid of so the shady practices will stop. Legends Class: $9 is a good average, $15 is pushing it Deluxe Class: $5-20 is a good average, $25 is pushing it Voyager Class: $25-30 is good average, $35 & up is ridiculous Leader Class: $40-50 is good average, $55 & up is ridiculous

This was a big hit. My 6 year old nephew screamed in frustration for about the first minute he tried to transform it. We were scared. My brother looked at me like, "What have you done?" He called in to the other room, "That may be too hard for you, Buddy. We can practice a few more times in just a minute." Then my nephew came into the hallway, and showed us how it worked. Relief! He was able to convert it easily after he figured it out- and he figured it out on his own.

Hotspot! Leader of the protectobots and core of the giant super robot Defensor! As a kid i had two of the protectobots and desperately wanted the rest. In particular i really wanted Hotspot as i always felt he looked cool and he went out like a bad ass in the Generation 2 Comics. Now many years later im staring at a piece of engineering that blows the original out of the water. Hotspot just looks incredible, his colors look great, the molded detail on his chest and shoulders make him look powerful, and his twin blasters make him dangerous. Transformation is fairly simple but does not leave me wanting. The ladder folds out ina particularly satisfying way to give it the sufficient length youd want. Fire truck mode is a non typical design but it is easy to tell what he is. He rolls well and once everything tabs in place he is pretty solid. The combined mode is the crown jewel of this figure. With First Aid, Blades, Streetwise, and Rook (with the option of Groove) you can merge them togethor and form the Hulking Defensor. These guys look fantastic togethor and make an excellent display piece, and an even better toy for the kids. Being able to share my childhood in this updated form with my kids is the best part. The only negatives i have for this figure is. The plastic feels thin. Its good quality, it just feels thin. You look at a figure this size and you expect more weight, but hes super light. Which gives the illusion of being a little cheap. The other negative would be in the combined form. Hotspots arms which form defensors shoulders dont tab in securely so they move around a lot when posing. You have to be sure to hold them when adusting the limb joints. Over all this figure is really good. I highly recommend it for fans and kids alike, just be sure to get the limbs too or you're going to miss out on the best part of Combiner Wars.

This has been my son favorite toy!! I bought this a while ago, and finally gave it to him yesterday for his birthday. He has not put it down once. This Hot spot combiner war transformer was the last piece to the combiner war "set" that he needed to combine all 5 of the transformers to make the larger, bigger transformer. Hot Spot transformers into a fire truck, but also adds as the chest piece when combined with the other 4 transformer toys (sold separately). The recommended age on the package is 8 and older, however, my son just turned 12, and struggled somewhat. But after watching a few youtube video, he was able to figure out the transformations. I would say the difficulty level is at a moderate level for that age group. Overall, I would recommend this hot spot combiner wars transformer, especially if you have the other transformers in the same series.

This is probably the best gestalt torso they have in the line so far. The vehicle mode is ok but the robot mode and the torso are very cool. Defensor is a really nice looking gestalt. I would say if you have them switch Alpha Bravo with Blades. When you look at it I feel the colors for each make Defensor and Superion look better.

Muy buenas figuras de colección para ser juguetes, de gran calidad en material y muy entretenidas en su premisa de transformarlas. Solía comprarselas a mi ahora exnovio, pero siempre me asombró lo bien hechas que están, el nivel de detalle y calidad que tienen.

L'ho pagato in tutto 32 euro e devo dire che, mi pare, li valga tutti! E' molto bello, un pò articolata la trasformazione ma a noi piace così... Plastiche di altissima qualità e molto solide...In più si combina con altri 4 robot per fare il ROBOT GIGANTE!!!
