Unlike the FIT and West Loop, the Huron LEAKS
I have loved all my Contigo products - 2 Contigo FIT water bottles with AUTOSEAL and 3 Contigo West Loop travel mugs with AUTOSEAL - until I got this Contigo Huron Snapseal travel mug. All the Contigo products have kept my drinks hot or cold for hours without any issues. Hot tea and hot chocolate have remained warm for at least 5 hours in the West Loop, and the FIT filled with water and 1/3 ice would still have pieces of ice after a full day. The Huron has kept hot chocolate warm for at least 3 hours; I tend to drain the Huron more quickly because it LEAKS. Despite making sure the o-ring is seated nicely and not twisted, it will leak if I shake the mug up and down or tilt the mug toward the Snapseal button. The FIT and West Loop have never leaked, even though I’ve shaken them vigorously, dropped them, or turned them upside down. I have no worries about the FIT and West Loop lying on its side; lying the Huron on its side is a guaranteed leaking disaster. I really wanted to like the Huron just because the SNAPSEAL cap is easier to clean; the AUTOSEAL with its spring mechanism is more of a pain to clean. The o-ring for the Huron does pop out easily when I'm washing it, so perhaps it's just an issue with a loose-fitting o-ring seal.

Great Product, Great Service
I have several of these cups because they maintain your beverage hot/cold better than any other travel cup I have tried. The company stands behind their products and when one of the gaskets failed on my cup, they responded immediately with a more than satisfactory solution. Two thumbs up for Contigo.

Did not keep drinks hot
I bought this travel mug for its leakproof qualities and the ability to keep drinks hot for up to 7 hours. It did not appear to leak in the short use I gave it, but drinks were only hot enough to drink in about an hour. After that they were just about luke-warm in 3 hours, and went downhill from there.This was returned after 2 trials; in the second trial I pre-heated the mug with boiling water, then made tea. This had little to no effect.The tea also tasted strange even when it was warm enough to drink but this may have improved with use and frequent washing

Good cup poor ring
It's a good cup solid and keeps my drink hot for over an hour. Problem is there is a rubber o ring in the lid that isn't perfect so I have occasional leaks where I have to put the o ring back in the right place so it works

Ok for a little while
started of ok but after a while the rubber seal stretches a bit and does not seal properly.

Best buy for new mums
If I could give it more stars I would! Looks very stylish, doesn't leak at all, it's easy to clean with no fiddly bits, you only need one hand to open and close it and it keeps my tea hot for hours. With a new baby this has been the best buy I've made, I can now have a hot drink again without worrying about spilling it on baby or it going cold.

Easy to clean.
I like this product because it does not spill my drinks and it keeps my hot drinks hot longer.
