DeMarini Vendetta Bag with Wheels

I ordered this bag, wanting a good quality bag that had wheels so my younger daughter could move it from place to place by herself. It is everthing I asked for and more. It holds four bats rather easily along with a helmet, two gloves, a face mask, pitching rubber, a hammer, spikes and a tape measure. The long pocket on the side holds batting gloves, and other small things like car keys, cell phone and a wallet. The insulated pouch for a bottle of water is a nice touch but with the bag fully loaded one bottle is about all you should expect to get in the pouch. I have not had the occasion to use the pouch for the damp items but it could come in handy in the future. The two swivel hooks on straps that pop out of the bat compartment make it easy for my daughter to hook it to a fence or backstop. A great product that continues to satisfy.

For the money this bag is Great. Fits all equipment (3 or 4 bats, helmet, 3 gloves, spikes, 1/2 doz baseballs and multiple half bottles of powerade) and still rolls nicely. Wheels could be bigger but like I said, can't complain for the money. It's sturdy, has plenty of pockets, zippers and straps are rugged and an all around great bag. Just make sure when you little ballplayer runs off with the bag the wheels are down. Mine dragged the bag to the dugout and put two holes in the bag. User abuse, not the bags fault. Even with the holes this thing should last a while. My son is more careful now after I showed him what he did to the bag.

Lots of room with top loading access and strong zippers, but as others have reviewed, the bag slumps and drags. So I went to Home Depot and for $6 built a rectangular frame out of 1/2 inch PVC pipe and four PVC 90 degree joints. Slid it into the lower bat enclosure and voila' - a spine to stiffen the bag while allowing "over-stuffing". I use the end storm fence hangers to hang it on the wall of my home closet; storage is easy. The water repellent "insulated" water bottle pocket has enough room for one drink (ho hum), and the shoe end-pocket for two pair of shoes. A better design would be to have no ancillary end pockets at all. I may just cut the pockets out, use the zippers for access, and open more inside space. Nice full length side pocket for incidentals. I use the bag for various sports, and I take a lot of gear. Good price compared to other less useful gear bags.

I have used this bag for 6 years now and have no complaints. The outside is very well built and all zippers have withstood anything I have given it. I havent had an issue with any of the internal sections although I feel the material between the bat holding area and the main internal section could be a problem area for those with higher usage than myself.

The 2 Star rating is given to the Company ("Afterschool.com - Quidsi Retail) but I give 4 Stars to the product which was the Vendetta Bag WITHOUT wheels. Note that I said WITHOUT wheels. Although we received the product very quickly, it was not what was described or pictured. There are other companies that apparently are selling the same bag WITH wheels.Here is the response I received. Loved when this product arrived. Miscellaneous-sized pockets for storage, wheels are great to ease the transport, but after just a few haulings between practices and games, the bag seems to be deteriorating rather quickly. The bag has endured some handling, but already there are a couple rips and/or holes forming and the material seems very sensitive or prone to damage. I wouldn't recommend this for airline travel, the bag would be in tatters. With careful handling, I hope this bag will last through the season. With the additional money paid out for this one, as opposed to a backpack-style bag, that withstood at least 7 seasons before "biting the dust", the quality should withstand the "kid-glove" treatment it has been given. It needs to be a heavier, reinforced material to withstand at least 1 season of little league baseball.

This is a great bag. I play a lot of soft ball and it holds all my gear and then some. Has room for about 4 bats, which is nice. 3 stars for the sturdiness because there is any structural support with out having the bats in it, overall 5 stars, would buy again.

bag did not last 1 year lost awheel . i send back to teamsports to see if i could get it replace so far no responce yet . one month has gone buy
