ActivaScenic Sand, 1-Pound, Moon Shadow

The sand is extremely fine And not the texture and consistency of normal sand. That’s what I thought I would be getting. Also the quantity was very small and not enough for me to do what I wanted to do with my project.I think the worst part is that I wrote to the company complaining and never heard anything back from them. Nonexistent customer service is the very worst that a company can do in my opinion.

The sands not so bright, but I don't really care! It holds the sticks perfectly and extinguishes at the end if needed! The packaging was good and was easily used to fill my jar where I store it! Recommended!

I purchased this white sand for a centerpiece on my front porch. I filled a plastic sand pail with clean kitty litter (to add weight) about 3/4 full. I topped it off with this white sand and a starfish. I live on the beach so this was perfect!

I was kind of disappointed. The sand itself is good, it's very fine (besides the occasional larger uncolored grains of sand) and the color looks just like the photos. But this little guy (in my photo) holds 16 fl oz. So he should hold 1 lb worth of sand. But the 1 lb I got didn't fill him up all the way. Maybe I was wrong about the conversion but maybe they aren't giving us truly 1 lb.

Have some unique bottles that I didn’t want to throw away, so I have mixed blue and white sand together. Wasn’t sure at first if the sand would be the color displayed, but it is – very happy with the outcome and a nice addition to my back porch.

I got this sand to decrease the population of fungus gnats terrorizing my houseplants. Since it's nontoxic I can safely use it with my plants and within a day of the sand put on the top layer of the soil, the gnats began to lessen.I water my plants through the sand and the color remains bright. Also, being in a south facing, bright window the sand refuses to fade!With this most recent addition, I only saw one gnat when I used to see clumps of them.

Guess what I was looking for to help the students write the alphabet letters? This bill the bill.. I have them write thier letters in this fine sand. It works great

Nice blue color and non toxic. Will be using in a zen garden. The price was a little high for the amount you receive.

This is not waterproof as advertised. My kids were playing with it in a sand box and dropped some water in it and it completely turned to mud. I thought maybe we let it dry but no. Still had a slimy consistency to it. Do not recommend

I used this as texture for some models. For me it’s the perfect amount, just enough to fill a container and sprinkle on models. It’s fine and stick well. It also paints relatively easily.

Bought this for my son to work on tracing with his finger and he loves it! The different colour allows us to do all sorts of projects.Be warned this is very fine sand so be somewhere clean up is easy.

Nice sand but was just a tiny bag of it.

Really fine, sticks to hands, love the colour, not quite what I wanted but I think it will work once I have the right kind of sand tray for letter tracing.
