BernatSuper Value Yarn, 7 oz, Gauge 4 Medium Worsted, Mint

The yarn is a great price dont get me wrong, I bought it for a cloak I wanted to make thinking it was nice and soft...its not. It feels like grandmas sweater she knitted you, rough and itchy. Other reviews on here said it was soft, and I'm glad they got soft yarn..I did not.

At least for me, it seems to crochet well, and it has a sort of middle-of-the-road texture. It's not super rough, and it's not silky soft either. I'd personally want something just a little softer if I was making clothing, but since I mostly just make plush toys, it works perfectly well. A good sturdy yarn.

I never buy Red Heart yarn anymore when I make scarves for the Veterans. Bernat yarn is so much softer. If it would be a little thicker, it would be perfect but I use it almost exclusively when I need a softer, good quality yarn for projects that come in contact with the skin. I like the color selections as well. I wish it would be more available locally though.

Bernat yarn never disappoints me. I recently used the sky blue to crochet a couple of Christmas trees. I’ve also used this super value yarn to make sweaters. At first the yarn feels seems like it might not be soft enough for garments but after the garment is made and washed the yarn is softer and very comfortable.

Nice yarn that is inexpensive yet soft and works up nicely with good stitch definition. Need to purchase machine wash/dry yarn for almost all my projects. People just don't want to mess around washing garments by hand anymore!

This is a terrible tangle of yarn. I got my project started and am dealing with a new tangle in the yarn every few rows. The middle of this ball is just awful.

Not even two feet in and I run into a rediulous knot with some random string that is not the main end. Considering that I just started and ran into a knot I'm pretty sure this won't be the last

This yarn was exactly what I needed, the yarn itself is perfect but if you want to wait 1.5 months for it to be delivered.

The ad states "sold as a pack of three" but I only received 1 ball of yarn. It is quite expensive for 1 ball and not enough to crochet the item I had intended. I've contacted the seller and will update this review when they reply to my query.
