Change in quality
I have purchased these for a few years directly from Whole Foods, and was excited to see that it was now available from Amazon. The quality has been changing recently. I have these on AutoShip and they’ve gotten increasingly darker in color which I’m assuming means cooked more or longer and they’re incredibly hard now. These are supposed to be a soft chew and I have a Chihuahua and even cutting them up, he can barely eat them. Hoping this feedback gets back to the right people in quality control.

My Picky Toy Aussie Loves These!
It is so very difficult to find a dog treat that my picky dog loves. There is only 2% fat, which is super important for my dog because he's prone to pancreatitis and has to have low fat treats. This is the ONLY low fat treat he loves!

My Shi-Poo loves these treats
These treats are my Shi-Poo's favorite. I cut them up in smaller pieces for him and to stretch them because they are expensive. When I first purchased these about five years ago they were only about five dollars now they are nearly double in price.

Expensive but tasty
Tried and approved by both my dog and my brother’s. Felt good about the ingredients (apple, bacon, grain free) but wish they were cheaper or came more in the package. Appealing smell for dogs but not stinky (like some or the fish treats). The treats are soft, flat 5-inch sticks. Treats can be easily torn into pieces.

NOT A SOFT CHEW
My dogs love these treats, but the "chew-o-meter" on the packaging shows these to be a softer chew. THEY ARE NOT- I can't even break them with my hands and have to rely on a knife if I want to use them as training tidbits.and Don't get me started on attempting to feed them to my senior dog that is missing a few teeth. The packaging should reflect that these are an extremely hard treat.
