Fruits and Vegetables Coloring Book Paperback – January 29, 2001

I am a new water colorist and an old gardener. I enjoy good garden presentations. This book provides drawings of different fruit and vegetables growing but also includes drawings of the flower preceding the fruit and even a cross-section of the fruit, if one were interested in the artistry of the internal structure of the fruit for an item study presentation. I am not sure how I would use these in my paintings, but I have a good reference book, should I want to paint a still-life arrangement. My wife also uses this book to color various fruits, for her work.

Great for a Christmas gift who likes her veggies and fruits.

I bought two of these to teach my kids about the Fruits and Vegetables. My youngest, only age 3, began learning to recognize and color realistic pictures of edible foods. My 5 year old began learning to color and read the names and identify them. I enjoyed coloring with them knowing they were learning something new. Gramma colors with them and likes the realistic pictures instead of Cartoon Characters. These books were a great hit with all ages in our family.

It's a fun book. The artwork is good. I just don't like when the pages have the image on front and back. I go to the copy store and print them out on separate papers so if u want to frame them u can

A very educational & reference coloring book with 45 wonderful & realistic detailed pictures of fruits & vegetables. I would recommend using coloring pencils for a natural blending & shading effect. Each picture provides valuable information on various fruits & vegetables which is nice for children or adults. After adding color to bring life to each picture you have a beautiful keepsake for years to come. I really love this book !!

Beautiful drawings to color. I'm using them as guides to make garden planter signs. Very good assortment of different veggies & fruits.

I just use it for reference. The drawings are nice and I will pass it on when I am through with it.

Bigger coloring books please. the standard 9 x 12 is too small as to make fine details difficult to color.
