Perfect for CNAs
I got these shoes specifically for for my job as a CNA since I don’t like nursing shoes. This shoes are amazing. They have a really good support and are very comfortable to wear while on your feet for 12+hours at a time! I’m really glad I made this purchase.

Aaahhhhhmazinggg!!!
I am terribly flat footed and constantly have knee and ankle pain. I currently had ankle pain until I put these shoes on and it instantly went away! I will definitely be ordering another pair for work. Also, I normally wear an 11.5-12 women’s and a size 12 fits perfectly! And I have a very wide foot! If anything changes between now and my workout tomorrow I will update my review.

WORTH THE MONAAAY.
Love these sneakers. They fit as expected. I don’t use wide shoes but sometimes my foot is to wide for some normal sized shoes. I’d say my foot is small, chubs, and square shaped. If that makes sense. These fit perfect with a little wiggle room by my toe. I wear a size 7.5. I wear an 8 but rarely.. only if the shoe is cut small.I’m not a runner, but these seem comfortable to take a light jog or short run. Which I do on the treadmill. I mainly use them to lift weights/ walk/ and do HIIT workouts. They’re light in comfort, not a heavy shoe. Overall the shoe is what I expected it to be. The color is a little on the lighter grey side versus what’s shown in the pic.Only wish they sold it in an all black color. I will be ordering a second pair for sure. The shoe is priced at an adequate price for the product, in my opinion. The last pair of running sneakers I bought were over $150 and they were by Brooks ( a real running shoe for long runs, in my opinion)BUY IT! Less than $60 shoe is worth it.

Disappointed
I was excited to get new exercise shoes, but these just haven't been great. I thought I just needed to get used to them, so I've worn them for a couple of weeks. But they just don't have enough support and the back part around the ankle is weirdly big and keeps giving me blisters. I've gone back to using my old Nike tenishoes that are worn and a little small, because they're actually more comfortable.I'd return them, but I've worn them too much, so I don't think I can. If you do get them, wear them inside for at least a couple of hours before you decide whether or not to keep them.

Meh
I have a pair of Under Armour crossfit (I believe they are the Gemini line) and I love them! I had them for about 9 years and finally they needed to be replaced. So I bought these thinking they would be lightweight and comfy like my other shoes. Not so! They are very tight and bulky. Heavy. One plus is that they have lots of cushion. I suggest something from another company. I regret my purchase.

A tad snug, still good purchase
I got the pitch gray, it’s ever so slightly lighter in color in person which I really like! I religiously wear an 8 in shoes and these are a tad snug. Would definitely not wear them running (I would get a half size up if that’s what you’re looking for). I got them just as comfy cute sneakers so I’m happy with my purchase!

Extreme pain, poor construction and materials. Authentic UA product?
I love my UA Charged Rogues so, when I saw the specs of the Charged Assert 8 were similar (neutral pronation, high arch, heel strike) yet, claiming to offer more cushioning and a wider toe box and better reviews, I was in!Since my experience with UA was great with the Rogue, I put on the Assert 8s with my usual socks and headed into work a 12hr shift at the hospital (which I've done with the Rogue, Nike Torch 4, Hoka One One Clifton, and the beloved NurseMates Dove with no issues...I switch up shoes weekly/monthly/quarterly depending on how my feet, legs, and back feel).HUGE MISTAKE with the Assert 8. Walking from my car to the unit I noticed the heel rubbing on my achilles, no biggie - they're new, I'll bend them and rub out the stiffness...helped moderately. Size was right, width was right...they felt good when I put them on and stood in them checking size. Within the first 4 hours though, the skin along the lateral aspect of my toes (not forefoot - widest part) was on fire and the top of the shoe rubbed my ankle upon dorsiflexion no matter how I adjusted the laces. Around mid-shift the sole of my foot felt like it had splinters in them intermittently. The minor pains were from too much arch support, a common complaint of mine anyway, and utter lack of cushioning compared to the Charged Rogue, even my old Cliftons have better cushion than the Assert 8.When I got home, I immediately cleaned and assessed my feet. Swollen, red, blistered, a little blood on lateral aspects of pinky toes, and yep -little, firm, black splinters of whatever material makes up the insoles and tongue of this shoe! They felt like fire when I tweezed them out of my heel, midsole, ball, some toe pads and along my ankle near blisters. The insole had pinched the lateral aspects of my toes between it and the body of the shoe each step I took so, the blisters on the big toes were intact and vertical, but the pinky toes were vertically broken skin and had been rubbed to the point of bleeding. Did I need a transfusion, no...but, still a major construction and material flaw that shouldn't have happened.I was happy to have a couple of days off after these shoes because I did require ibuprofen, ice, rest, and elevation. I also assessed for signs of sustained irritation and/or infection from the splinter sites, gladly there was none.I'm considering contacting UA to see if they'd like me to send these to them so they can be inspected for authenticity. Otherwise, I'll be putting these in the garbage.

Great all around shoe for running or running errands!
I got these for my mom as gift and she absolutely loves them! The fit is true to size and she said they gave her the perfect amount of support. She has already done a few short runs with them but also likes wearing them around town.

Awesome Shoes👌
So I bought these because I needed Nursing shoes for work. I'm so happy I found these! I wanted black comfy shoes for work and usually buy Columbia shoes. With everything being closed due to the virus, I had to turn to amazon for shoes. Amazon doesn't have Columbia shoes, so I checked these out. Now, they did come 1 day late (Had a WHOLE month to get here...), but definitely happy with the purchase. So happy that I immediately placed an order for the white ones for personal use.I purchased 0.5 size bigger because I insert insoles, and glad I did. They are absolutely perfecto👌You cant do wrong with these shoes...especially with free returns if they don't fit.

Most comfy shoe ever
I LOVE this shoe so much I will buy a second pair. As a frontline worker, I work 8-16 hours 6-7 days a week. I am always on my feet These shoes are SOOOOO comfortable I dont even feel I am wearing them. And even with the extreme heat we had, they didnt make my feet sweat. Buy them if you want a wonderful great quality shoe.

Love these shoes!
I love these shoes. I have wide feet and it is hard to find nice shoes that fit well. I did get a blister on my right heel, the first day I wore them, but that happens with most new shoes. It healed and I havent had an issue since. They look great and feel great! I'm very happy with the price as well. The lowest I could find for these particular shoe.

Heel cuff digs into achilles tendon
After reading a couple dozen positive reviews about these shoes, we decided these UA shoes might be the "ticket" for my wife who spends many hours on her feet in a retail store. She has wider than average feet and we usually purchased New Balance brand shoes which have served her adequately in the past. We found the size was perfect in the UA shoes however after 2 to 3 days wearing them she discovered the heel cuff was digging into her achilles to the point wear she developed blisters on both feet in that location. We thought that maybe it was just a matter of allowing the shoe to loosen up a bit with continued usage however even with the use of bandages on the achilles, the shoes refuse to relax and it appears with less than 2 weeks of use, these shoes are going to be retired. So disappointed as everything else seems to indicate a quality shoe. Wasted our money

Slightly small fit (length), but roomy toe box. Suggest 1/2 to 1-full size up from casual shoe size.
I normally wear women's size 9 to 9.5 in casual & athletic shoes. I found and ordered size 9.5 from Amazon Warehouse deals. As soon as I tried on the shoes, I could definitely feel my toes touching the front end of the toe box. I was wearing regular athletic socks. Immediately returned. So then I found & ordered size 10.5, also from Amazon Warehouse. Upon trying on the 10.5 with regular athletic socks, found them too large (in length). So a size 10 would have fit me, but unavailable in Amazon Warehouse (don't want to pay full price). Had there been a size 10 available, I would have given them one last chance.- Found the toe box to be roomy (horizontally)- The exterior of the shoe feels a bit stiff, but that indicates they're sturdy & supportive. I imagine that would relax a little after breaking in.- I also found the included insoles to be a bit firmer than expected...however, after re-reading the description ("compression molded foam for even greater responsiveness & durability") I imagine this is indicative of the "durability"- they felt very lightweight- grip was excellent indoors (varnished parquet wood, linoleum) and upon looking at the tread, I believe they would provide equally good grip outdoors on pavement-soles seem like they would be durable, and not compress/wear down too fast (depends on individual usage, of course)- they have a bit of a harder/sturdy/supportive/durable feel overall...- definitely not super soft, like shoes with memory foam insoles & flexible fabric exterior (eg. Sketchers go walk). If that's what you're looking for, look elsewhereTIPS: I recently read that for "running shoes" you often need a larger size than your casual shoe size. I'm not an avid runner...but like to wear athletic shoes for various other activities, eg. city bike riding, city walking/shopping, long standing work/job. For cardio workouts, eg. Zumba or Hi/Lo Cardio Class, I prefer and recommend "Cross Trainers", as they are built wider at the front end to support your foot & maintain better balance during lots of left/right side stepping movements.
