Wonder Pets - Save the Wonder Pets

My daughter loves the Wonderpets and even sings their theme song without prompting. She just loves these little guys. For toddlers, I cant recommend this DVD enough. The Wonderpets teach sharing, caring for others, cultivating friendships despite differences, and other important simple relationship life lessons. Their attempts at helping their fellow furry critters are inventive and quite cute, and they always save the day. Since they travel all over the world to help animals in need, your youngster gets a nice lesson about different cultures, exotic places and a variety of animals. The Wonderpets teach ALOT in their episodes but never with a heavy handed, beat over the head approach. Its all done in fun entertaining adventures that do not feel like learning experiences, but are. Did I mention its like a toddler opera? Every action is done in sing song and the three mainc haracters are as cute as can be.The DVD itself is well done, the picture being exceptionally good for DVD quality and looks nice on high end equipment.

We don't have cable so all my [...]boys are exposed to on tv are dvds. I have been active and careful in choosing what they watch. Never did I think I would have them watching a Nick/Noggin show at such a young age, figured all their programming was as healthy as cotton candy. But that shows my prejudice and my ignorance! This is a fantastic series: sweet, gentle paced, with NO replicable behavior or language to annoy parents: all very positive imaging with the way the characters speak and interact. Furthermore, it's a series with a terrific introduction to music, animals and gentle geography. There are number of episodes on this dvd - not sure how many - but enough that I can know my kids are and will be distracted for a nice chunk of time if I need to get something done, and that they are healthily engaged in the process. When we do watch with them, the series are sweet - not sickeningly twee. Heartily recommend.

The Wonder Pets are an absolute smash hit with our two year-old. They are terrifically innocent, but not "goo-goo" babyish. The Wonder Pets, along with Peep and the Big Wide World, are the two series which don't seem to be too fasted pace and keep our son interested for as long as we'll let him. He loves to see all of the different animals they meet, he loves to sing the songs -- which again aren't too "babyish." We were introduced to The Wonder Pets by Singapore Airlines on a flight from LA to Indonesia. He watched the two episodes over and over and over (thank goodness for individual screens and headsets). We bought the DVD because we felt like we owed the producers for saving us on the flight!!

I almost didn't buy this because I read a review complaining that the DVD had episodes formerly shown on TV....well thank goodness I ordered it anyway, because the special double length "Save the Wonder Pets" whale episode was worth the price alone. My daughter had played the online game on the Nick Jr. site where the Wonder Pets are in the belly of the whale, and so was thrilled to actually watch the adventure on the "big screen" of the TV. The other episodes, which have all been on TV, are just an added bonus - now she can watch one whenever she likes, since the show isn't on as often as some of her other favorite programs.If your toddler likes the Wonder Pets, this will be a favorite!

Got this for my daughter's third birthday and she cannot get enough!! She sings all the songs. I love that there is complexity and innocence in all the music and stories, as well as good moral lessons! Definitely recommend!

Product just as described! My child use to watch this show when she was little. She wanted to watch again because they are not on tv anymore

My daughter has been watching the Wonder Pets since she was 7 months old. Everytime they come on she gets so excited and sings along with them. This is a great way to introduce your child to many different places & different animals. I am so excited that they have this DVD out. I can't wait to buy this for my daughter. I've been waiting for a long time. Trust me, your kid will love the wonder pets!

I love this show! I have seen them all over and over and over. My age you ask-56 years old! I have loved it since the first episode and now have my 6 year old granddaughter hooked on it. I tell everyone about it. A great show for young and old. Thnak you for putting out this DVD, and I am buying the CD at the same time. My granddaughter will love it too.

Really disappointed with this product it didn't work

Es muy difícil encontrar dvd's y productos de las mascotas maravilla y más aun a un precio razonable. Todo perfecto con el artículo. Hay que mencionar que está en español latino. Muchas gracias!
