This is, hands down, the very best watercolor journal I have ever owned. I’m a huge fan of Fluid 100 watercolor paper, this journal is filled with the non-cotton version which is just Fluid watercolor paper. It is amazing. It holds very wet washed with minimal buckling. I didn’t even have to clamp my pages down when painting the astronaut in Space pic I’ve shared.The book itself is very beautifully made. It is a nice textur d hardcover and it lays flat no matter how you use it. It’s is square, which is rare and a huge plus. Ive gone through dozens of watercolor journals and none can compare to this one. If I could give this more than 5 stars, I would. I love it that much.

The paper is pretty smooth so better for art and writing pens. I do use it for watercolor sketching also. I gave this 5 stars because of the sturdy cover and wire-bound binding.

The paper buckles easily. I would not purchase this again.

I've been wanting a little square watercolor notebook for a while and found this one, and it has been perfect. The paper quality is amazing and very thick, can absorb a lot of water without curling, and stays flat after it dries. I can put layers of paint and water on top and the paper takes it all. Also, I've noticed that my watercolors dry quicker on this paper than say on Canson or even Arches.

Product appears to have been used due to scuffs on paper.

Love this book one page had some dirt on it but it was so minor it doesn't matter. Very nice quality book I'm very happy
