Product itself is great. Daughter loves it but boy do the paints stink. Nice selection of colors for a beginner & decent price. Only issue was that it was marked as Prime but no 2 day free shipping was offered. As usual, Amazon corrected the issue.

I purchased these as a first acrylic paint set for my teenage daughter and they are great. The tubes are small, but a great starter set with a variety of 24 colors. The color she ran out of first was white (because of mixing colors) so I just went and bought another tube of white at the art store. The quality of the paints is good and she has enjoyed using them. They work well on the canvases she has been painting on -- yes, this set has seen here through several mid-size paintings!

Not a lot of variable shades out of the tube but plenty of options for blending your own colors if you have the knowledge. Paint goes on great onto all of my minis so far. I use Vallejo brush on primers before I paint and these stick on just fine. At this price with the amount of paint you get it's really good at least for a beginner like me.

It's OK to have around as a backup but for main usage on Canvas it's a no-no. The Paint is quite thin and requires two coats sometimes. If you're making silhouette Grass, you can't go over that, it requires one stroke; with this paint you get nothing but transparent Grass. To their advantage, they advertise it as Artist Quality now apparently, but it's just Soft Body Craft paint.For a few dollars more you can get a Heavy Body paint set from Amsterdam, Grumbacher or Liquitex.**Update 03/06/18 **They have changed the product since this review, I'm tempted to re-purchase it and try again just out of curiosity.

Beautiful rich colors. A little bit goes a long way. I'm using to paint rocks so my drying time is about 60-75 mins but that's ok with me. If I can find glitter or bright colors I'll be buying them as well.
