I've only installed 12 pins so far, but I can already tell DT connectors are my new favorite. This tool and the DT system are great. So much better than crimp type butt connectors. Just slip the pin in the wire, slide it in the tool, and squeeze with minimal force and you get a consistent , strong crimp. Hopefully this tool lasts, but just out of the gate, it's 5-stars all the way.

Worked perfect for building my connectors! Used for wiring on my Harley that has tons of vibration, still holding tight with no loose connections.

This is my first dive into Deutsch connectors, I decided to use them for a new wiring project I was starting. I found there were other "crimpers" out there, these fell into the not over the top price range for a entry tool. I don't make my living with my tools it is for my hobbies. The worked exactly as they should. Fit and feel is more than just an entry level tool. They fit my hand well and crimped as needed... No learning curve!

Worked like a charm. If you don't need to do a ton of work with these connections this is a big money saver.

Some previous reviewers noted issues fitting deutsch pins into the crimper. I'm not sure why but suspect they had the incorrect size for their needs. I bought the Deutsch size 16 pins which match this crimper perfectly. But be aware -other size pins require a different size crimper. Depth is spot on - 2 sets of 4 circumferential crimps are even and solid. Ratchet ensures you crimp sufficiently - be sure to read the instructions about the crimp pressure as the setting may have changed in shipping (as had mine). Great tool for a modest price. appears well built and comfortable to use. Hard to beat for the price, a very pleasant surprise.

Wire crimping works great in every which way easier to buy on amazon and get up your door then to go to the store and find out they're out of stock or the one that you want.They don't have on the shelf. Comfort and grips.Well, the size is perfect.Not too big but a good amount size in your hand.

Well I am pretty impressed actually. Quality is noticeably better than similar items at supacheap auto. It really feels like a premium tool. The adjustable crimp impact setting is a bonus. Another bonus was an excellent English language instructional brochure and clear markings on the tool, so much better than the cheap nasty multi- language scraps of paper that often accompany even pricey brand tools. Had a 400$ pair and the springs broke after 7 years. Didn’t see the point in spending that much again, these are very good quality at a very good price

Can’t go wrong with this crimper. Crimps deutz terminals like a dream and I have yet to have a terminal come loose from the crimp. Great price!
