Valtev Rescue Folding Knife with Glass Window Breaker, Seatbelt Cutter and Heavy Duty Nylon Pouch

This knife isn't really good for EDC but that's fine, it's not an EDC knife. It's the perfect thing to chuck in the map pocket of your car door for emergencies. The knife steel isn't going to keep pace with an $80 high end knife but it won't rust and this isn't meant to get much use, anyway. I do wish it had some type of key ring attachment point, though, not to actually hang on a keychain but to attach to a lanyard or string of some kind. It does have a basic fabric belt holster included, but let's face it, who carries a seat-belt-cutter/window-breaker on their belt every day? It's more the kind of thing you keep in your glove box. A lanyard would just make it easier to find/avoid losing in an emergency situation.

20 year-old college student living away from home for the first time feels very secure with this "rescue" knife in her purse, along with pepper spray. We ended up buying one for around home in LA as well.

Fantastic handle, sharp edge, easy one hand open, nice coloring. In an emergency you don't want to think, and this knife gives you that. The coloring means it should be easily visible in low light, the handle fits your hand just right, the little nub of metal attached to the blade is a nice touch to prevent your hand from slipping up to get cut on the blade. The weight feels good, and the construction feels solid, no wiggle or wobble in any part of the knife or handle.

No car or truck should be without one. I keep it in the overhead eyeglass case for quick access in case of an accident and quick exit needed.

Bought two of these. Perfect size and exactly what I was looking for. Wish it had a belt clip. But more importantly, the blade lock does not work. The lightest pressure on top of the blade closes it. Watch your fingers.

Bought this to keep in the car for emergencies. Haven't had to use it yet and hopefully never do but it's nice to know we have it. Good quality and delivered fast.

Didn't have a clip on it so for my husband was a big deal he clips them on his duty belt so was really needed
