This is a great way to have black licorice, because the other ingredients balance it out well - both in flavor and texture. Black licorice has to be eaten in moderation, so this is a good way to lower consumption with the candy that's wrapped around it (or inside of it). When the second ingredient listed is treacle (molasses), that's a good sign. It's fairly low sugar compared with many other treats. I especially love the circular ones, where I can enjoy the way the coconut influences the texture. It also has coconut oil and gelatin, which are actually good for my aging body (also, you'll want to take note of that if you're avoiding animal products). Natural colors and flavors are always a good thing. Freshness - very fresh. Quality - kept me coming back for more! Size - best one for the money, like all things in bulk. Chewability - very pleasing, wonderful to chew. A little on the firm side, which I enjoy. Let me sum it up with the fact that I HAD to get more!! My only issue is that they are so good that I have to make sure to eat a protein bar first, so that I don't overindulge in them.

These are terrible. Technically they are edible, but the taste is very very poor. I am English and have tried many different brands of licorice allsorts outside of England and these were the worst! Winco supermarkets has the best value with good taste, Raleys supermarkets has slightly better taste, but much more expensive. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY on this product

The candy was delicious. It was the softest and freshest Allsorts Licorice I’ve ordered online. The cost was great for how much candy you get. I would purchase the candy again and definitely recommend it to anyone who likes black licorice.

I've gotten 4 packages (I believe) of these over the last 5-6 months. For the most part they have been average or slightly above. One package seemed a little on the older side as they were slightly tougher than other packages. One was very fresh compared to the others. All have been tasty allsorts. I am quite disappointed with the last batch. It seems like half the package is just cut black licorice pieces. There are way more of these than other packages and way more than I think there should be in this batch. I like allsorts. I just wish these packages were more consistent, between assortments and freshness

As a longtime fan of licorice allsorts (usually Wallaby's), I was excited to try a different brand. Unfortunately, this one fell short. Straight out of the bag, the color looked good and nothing appeared stale. But the texture told a different story — the pieces were rigid and stiff with almost no give or bend to them. That translated into a hard, tough chew, and a mouthfeel that ended up gritty and crumbly rather than soft and springy like allsorts should be. The flavor was disappointing too — flat and dull, with just a single dominant note instead of the fuller, more layered taste I'm used to. It tasted like the licorice had lost its flavor somewhere along the way, even though it didn't look stale. Overall, the texture and flavor just didn't hold up compared to what I'm used to. I'll be sticking with my usual brand going forward.
