LubriplateLow-temp Multi-purpose, Low Temperature Grease

I had a service technician recommend this product for regular maintenance of my garage door opener. It makes your garage door sound like its brand new. You need to remove the old lubricant before adding the new, but it works great. I highly recommend!

I have an older screw drive opener that made lots of noise. The old grease was dirty and pretty thick. After cleaning the old grease out and replacing it with what tge manufacturer actually recommends, it made a huge difference. I've also used this grease on my snowblower so it's been worth tge cost.

The media could not be loaded. I bought this product to grease the screw drive of a garage door opener. The garage door had become unbearably loud to the point of reaching 90 decibels when opening and closing. A video on youtube showed a guy with a similar issue using this product to fix it. I couldn't find the product at any of the local box stores, but luckily it was available on Amazon. It was delivered ahead of the estimated delivery dates, which was another plus.As soon as it arrived, I applied a bead of the grease to the bottom of the screw drive. The results were immediate. I attached a video of the before and after noise levels and the whole process. It's been a week now, no additional applications and the noise level is still low, maybe lower than what can be heard on the video after the grease was applied.Another major plus is that the grease did not drip off the screw drive, so no mess on the garage floor and the car could be parked there without having to worry about grease dripping on it!! Great product. Now we don't have to worry about wakening up the whole neighborhood when opening and closing our garage door :)

A nice drop in the noise level, didn't fix the door from stopping after going up 2-3'

I bought a tube of this lube and when it arrived, it had a small hole at the crimp end that allowed it to leak. I contacted customer service explaining the problem and they sent me a return shipping label and told me to contact them when I dropped it in the mail and they would cross ship a replacement tube. When I emailed and told them that the defective tube was in the mail, the replacement tube was shipped the same day.I have a screw drive door and it was quite noisy to the point where I left my truck outside for a week waiting on the lube to arrive for fear that something was going to seize and break. I snipped the end, ran a thin bead the entire length of the screw and pushed the button. The chatter was gone and only a slight hum could be heard as the door came up.Kudos to both the grease and customer service.I'm also adding a service reminder for anyone reading this to also remember to maintenance the springs and rollers. If the screw needs it, I'm sure both of these need it too. There are a lot of YouTube videos on how to do it and what to use.

After painting our garage door, we noticed that it was sticking when going up. We didn’t realize that we should not have painted the inside of the jamb as that created a sticking point. I had a garage door contractor come out and take a look at it and he said that they use this exact product to solve the sticky problem. He said he could put it on and it would cost me $100 for a service call or I could order it from Amazon and save myself $80. I took his recommendation and I’m happy with the results.

The lubricant works as they claimed. The garage door opener was opening quietly for once.
