Works Perfectly with Dell Precision 490
This RAM was installed on a Dell Precision 490 and enabled me to save the computer after installing Linux Mint as the operating system. Upon installation the BIOS immediately recognized the new RAM and so far after about a month of use the RAM is working as intended. This RAM is different from other types of RAM in that it has a heat shield wrapped around each memory stick. Therefore, carefully check the requirements of the manufacturer of your desktop computer before purchasing this particular RAM.
