EcoeggDryer Eggs, Fragrance Free, 2

The Ecoegg dryer eggs are amazing little balls.I use the Ecoegg Dry Balls in conjunction with the Egoegg wash ball (I bought the 720 in the same scent). No fabric softener, bleach, stain powders, etc. It leaves my clothes less static-y, a little softer, and better-smelling... in less time!They leave behind a very noticeable scent fresh out of the dryer. I am rather sensitive to smells, but I found the scent of the Fresh Linen pleasant and strong enough to notice but mild enough to not over power.I do find the scent wears off after a bit and is not as strong, but I do feel it lasts beyond the 20 uses they say on the box (I do about 2-6 loads of laundry 2x a week, so replacing it every 20 uses is alot of money). They also include a second set of sticks, so once the first ones wear out, I'll replace with the included set of sticks. After this, there are individual scent sticks for sale without having to buy the egg again.I followed another users tip about topping them off with scent from an essential oil by removing the white plastic cap on the tube, inserting essential oil (I skipped putting it on a bit of cotton ball), then re-capping and re-inserting in the egg.I wish that the scent balls were also offered in lavender, as they currently have a smaller wash egg in that scent (personal preference: it's my favorite scent).Also, I have to note in full disclosure that my egg is beginning to show bits of wear after 3 or so months of use. If you look closely in the photo, you'll see a couple lines where the egg is slightly torn. All in all, not a deal breaker- it has a warranty (never used it, so can't comment on service) and they're affordable at £10.

I love this product. I used to have balls out of woll for my drying circle in the tumble dryer. However they didn’t work as well as I thought they would so I had a milk around and came across the Ecoegg dryer eggs. I purchased them and couldn’t wait to try them out and even I did I was quite impressed. The drying circle had reduced by about 30-45 minutes which I thought was impressive. I thought the banging if the eggs may be very loud but it’s no louder then the dryer balls out of woll. I can only recommend this product as I’m gonna be using it on a regular basis. I chose these as I thought it would be nice to have a scent, having used dryer balls in the past and found they did a good job helping the creases out of clothes. I was so wrong. The eggs smelled so strongly of melted plastic when I opened the box. I washed them, put the scent stick inside and popped them into the tumble dryer on their own to test them. It's taken 2 weeks to get the smell out of my tumble dryer and the house smelled so foul for days. AVOID!

Bought these to reduce drying time. After using many times I can't say I've noticed any difference in drying time. Even tried putting less in the dryer. The only difference I've noticed is the noise as these 'eggs' bang around the drum.However, the washer eggs are pretty good for towels and darks. I'd recommend them.

Love this product. Bought these having seen something similar years ago, these were stronger, more robust, they also came with a scent stick. I usually spend most of Saturday evening getting the laundry done. Not this time. I was into my rooms long before 21:00, my usual finishing time, and could enjoy some telly before bed. My clothes came out smelling great having taken about a third of my normal drying time. All that electricity I used to waste, not to mention my personal time. They work! Put away your scepticism, embrace your opportunity to save money, as well as the planet. Get some, you'll be thankful you did.

These are wonderful if your looking for something to soften and scent your laundry, their scent is light and not too strong which some laundry conditioners can be and thats why I personally use these. They are vey cost efficient, my only remark is that they say they should be replaced more frequently but I usually stretch mine out further. Although I would like them to last even longer.

Very pleasant scent, and product lasts for a long time. After I’ve received them, they’ve been in approximately 20 dryings and the size of the scented chalk inside almost hasn’t decreased. They give a very gentle scent to the linen. Not sure if they drastically decrease the time of drying, but for sure they make the clothes more smooth and give them a nice and not annoying scent. Good value for money.

Really pleased with these. I find that dryer sheets do not leave a pleasant smell and while the scent is not completely to my taste, it certainly leaves me with a fresher load of drying that seems softer (especially towels).I find it difficult to judge whether they make a real difference to drying time - too busy to check every few minutes. This might become more obvious as I use the dryer more as the weather changes.I have not had any problems with the scent sticks coming out so far. I have simply left the eggs in the dryer since first use- couldn't be more straightforward to use.
