These bags came just as advertised and were easy to fill. Birds found them right away too. :)

We had tried several different brands of these thistle socks. I was about to give up on the sock and switch to a feeder because we had a problem with birds (I'm looking at you, chickadees) figuring out really quickly that if they peck a hole in the seam they can get the seed faster (which ends up ruining the sock and dumping a bunch of seed on the ground). These C&S socks have a better seam and the birds aren't able to pick a hole in it.As noted by other reviewers you get three socks, with no seed included.

These are an excellent value. They are presently feeding over 30 finches. They just keep showing up. The only downside is that the seam, where the two sides of the sack come together, tends to get small wholes over time.

If you enjoy finches, this feed bag will bring them to your yard, this and a supply of Niger seeds! The birds are attracted to the bright white sack and the holes are the perfect size. On any given day I have 7-11 birds sharing the food. They hold 16 oz of food and I launder them with my towels.

My last bag disappeared from either a bird or a very physically adept rat. If it was a rat, he/she/they had to climb up a slippery pole to get to the food.This new bag works great. It holds food and the finches love it.

These are shorter ones than I usually have bought at stores, but still do fine. Couldn't find these kind this year at any store, only the ones that hook onto a top piece. Just have to fill them more, our little finches have been hungry this summer into fall. Arrived fast, great communication. Would buy again.
