Grade #1 Steel Wool 5 lb Rolls (5 lbs)

I used this to line an old stone chimney, that actually is in the back of a closet in my old farm house. it's worked great keeping the little mice from coming in. I used it to fill the knock outs in my electrical box as well...no mice! It was a huge roll and easy to use just make sure you wear gloves when handling it.

Hopefully this works to keep mice out. I've stuffed it in every Crack & hole in the house. You get alot of material for the price !

I probably purchased way more than needed but I used this to plug up holes in my apartment where mice were getting in. Seems they had gotten too smart for traps and besides if you do not want mice in your living space you need to stop them from getting in in the first place. I used a long screw driver to stuff stuff stuff the holes & gaps until they were packed & tucked in nicely. I plan to caulk over it too. So far not a single mouse dropping to be found and it's bee a couple of weeks. This may or may not work for rats. Apparently they will consume it and get back in but it does kill them within a couple days. My concern would be them dying in the walls and then you'd really have a problem. Either way, you need to exclude the pest and close off the access points. Traps do little good since they multiply like crazy.

Prob more steel wool than i needed but still cheaper than other listed options and def works great. Used to plug holes for mice. Caulk not necessary

Good deal for this amount of good steel wool. Pretty tight weave. Durable. I used it to stuff rodent entry holes around my home....works great. Not very oily.
