Solid Brakes for the Price
I bought these to upgrade the braking on my Cannondale MTB as part of a conversion to electric. The kit came with a couple of adapter arms depending on your bike's mount situation. They went on easy enough, and it was not too difficult to get a good solid feel at the levers. Stopping power is much improved over the stock v-brakes. One tip is to 'pre-load' the brake by pulling the arm just before the point of caliper engagement and then tighten the cable. While they aren't the most powerful brakes out there, you get a lot for the money. Another plus is that they can be used with larger rotors, so your investment is not lost if you decide you need more power later. Disclaimer: No brake is a substitute for situational awareness, ride smart, and pay attention to what is down the road.

Great value
All components in this kit appear to be of great quality design, materials, machining, finish and build. No comment on documentation or ease of installation since I want to install this on a rim-brake bike (that has no caliper mounts) and unfortunately I've found no readily available conversion brackets that are strong & safe enough (IMO) so will need to completely resolve that before proceeding. However I have no doubt installation would be relatively easy on a bike with disc brake hubs and typical /'standard' size caliper mounts suitable for 160mm rotors.

Work well, good price, nicely made
I installed these on my older mountain bike when I upgraded the wheels and could mount discs. While you do have to study the instructions and pay attention to mounting the calipers correctly, they are easy to install. I would say they perform a bit better than my old Shimano V-brakes and no more grinding noise from dust between the pads and wheel. I do get a high pitched squeal from the rear brake, but I think it's temporary and caused by dust getting onto the pads.

Excellent kit for a casual beginner, and can be adapted for larger rotors easily
I actually can’t give a full review on this, purely because I upgraded to a 203mm rotor and am using it on my front wheel only. All I can really say is that I currently have more stopping power than both of the 160mm rotors did. I plan on adding the rear 203mm when I can find buy the adapter to allow for clearance around my engine chain (I ride a motorized bicycle.) The rotors have some incredibly strong braking force when considering that they are mechanical and not hydraulic. I’ll probably upgrade eventually, but for now it slows down a 300lb rider from 40mph significantly faster than dual rim brakes every could, and I’m only using the front one. No overheating issues for me but that’s probably because I’m using a 203mm rotor which cools down much faster. I remember the 160mm single front rotor giving off light bending heat waves when I was briefly using it.

Replaced the squeaky stock brakes
I got tired of the squeaky brakes that came with my bike. I had to use the original brackets but everything lined up. Easy installation and adjustments. My bike Now stops on a dime and no noise. I kept the original rotors on the bike but it is nice to have a spare set for when the time comes.

Will not fit road bike with fenders and/or rack
I have Phil Wood hubs and use fenders and racks. No way this brake system will fit; this includes any other threaded hub system that I know of. I tried this with a drop-out adaptor for the hubs with no success. On the front you will likely need a fork with brazed on brake mounts. Finding such a fork that also allows for fenders and rack will be a challenge and will likely be pricey. s For a road bike I know of no system to use this allows the use of a disk on the rear with fenders and/or rack. There are flat plate adapter mounts < $10. The smallest of these mounts fits 20mm tubes; way too big for a road bike and precluded the use of fenders and/or racks. Even without using fender/rack the flat plate adaptor interferers with wheel removal.

Wow
What a difference. My 20 inch electric bike brakes were squeaking and hardly stopping. Thought I would replace the pads and found this product. Figured I might as well replace rotors and calipers and get a fresh start. After the install, which went ok, I took it out for a test. After 6 or 8 hard showdowns the brakes would actually lock the wheel if I wanted. The bike never did that with the original brakes.I cannot believe how well these perform. I now feel safe riding my bike again and no awful squeel noise. Wish I would have bought these sooner.

Better than what was on bike.
So far so good. Better than the stock mechanical calipers that came on the bike. Bike is new and the brakes that came on it are useless. Not anything like the hydraulics that I have on my other bike but these are fine and they stop well. Cheap money!

Excelente compra
The media could not be loaded.
