MOCHIC CUP Reusable Coffee Cup with Lid Portable Travel Mug with Non-Slip Sleeve BPA Free Dishwasher and Microwave Safe Friendly Coffee Mug (Mint Green,12oz)

This cup is everything I wanted. Fits my cup holders in my car, MICROWAVEABLE!, easy to clean, keeps my coffee warm for a lot longer than a regular coffee cup, MICROWAVEABLE!, and also it's MICROWAVEABLE!. The double walled cups can never be microwaved so when my coffee gets cold, I can't really use those to warm the liquid up again. This cu p is perfect for that.One negative that others point out is the lid comes off easily. I don't think this is an issue as the lid is sturdy enough to not pop off without intentional manipulation. However, if your 5 year old picks up the cup by the lid and you've got it filled up (it's heavy), then MAYBE it will come off and you'll have an issue. But like I said, 99% of use cases, the lid stays on.

I've had this mug less than a week, I bought it to replace an Aladdin mug that I lost a couple of weeks ago. If you are expecting a mug that will keep liquids hot for an hour, this is not the mug for you. Imagine that you stopped at a service station and got coffee in a 16 oz styrofoam cup with a sleeve to insulate your hand from the heat; this mug is a plasticized version of that. This is not a double-walled mug and it transmits heat readily, hence the sleeve that is permanently part of the mug. Not that big of a deal to me, because I seldom take more than 30 minutes to drink a cup of coffee, and I can always pop it in the microwave to reheat if it's too cold. I am more concerned about the lid, since it is held on by friction. It does not thread on and I don't know how long it will be leakproof. Works fine out of the box, but I have my doubts about its longevity. I filled the Aladdin mug in the photo with coffee, then poured it into the MOCHIC cup and it held all of the coffee, despite appearing much smaller. As you can see from looking at the cup, there are no threads to hold the lid on. The lid has a stopper on a swivel intended to prevent spills. Don't know how well it would work if you knocked the cup over, but it seems to work OK at preventing coffee from sloshing out if it gets jostled. There is a small pinhole under the rubber by the swivel that apparently allows the mug to "breathe". I'll update this review after I've used it for a few months.Followup 10-20-2023: This mug finally came apart in the microwave after a couple of years of use. I'm happy to report that the lid, which I feared would leak, held up to the very end. I am happy enough with this product that I purchased four more of them and I expect to be drinking hot liquids from them for year to come.

Just the size I needed,

I purchased this cup mainly for the 8oz size. I used it daily for a cup of tea on the way to work. It fit in the car cupholder but is quite short which made it a little difficult to get OUT of the cupholder. Fortunately, it doesn't take long to drink 8oz of tea; I found myself just holding it until my tea was gone. Fast forward 9 months and one morning my cup dutifully sat on the counter waiting for me. When I pulled off the lid, the top half inch of the cup came with it! Crazy! I've never seen a cup break in this way! Anyway, the cup was fine, until it wasn't. Not a bad 9 months...but I'll be looking for a different replacement.

Not only is this Togo cup car cup friendly, microwaveable, and dishwasher safe, it easy to drink from without burning yr hand or mouth. I absolutely love this cup, don’t want to use anything else. Highly recommend, worth the price 👍🏻

When considering you put boiling hot drinks in this cup, you would think that the person or people that thought of this stupid cup, would've made sure that if you accidently knocked over, the contents wouldn't be able to spill out, causing you to suffer 2nd - 3rd degree burns. That said, then WHY did the dumb nitwit(s) instead of designing a lid you simply press down on, would've made DAMN sure it was a screw on cover type , to ensure our (the consumers) safety & not wind up getting sued? The cup is pretty, but aesthetician isn't going to keep us from getting burned. A PROPER screw-on cover would, with a REAL snap feature for the mouth opening, so the contents don't get cold too soon & ensure it doesn't leak either if accidently knocked over.For that reason, I deemed it UNsafe & returned it.If only the glass one, which DOES have a screw-on cover, is ALSO unsafe, due to the silicone band around the cup, gets just as hot, if not hotter, than the cup itself, causing it to be UNsafe as well & burning your hand. The contents get cold REAL quick. Not to mention the price goes up, exponentially. Why? 'Cause it's glass?Either way, I'm on the hunt for a cup that's microwavable, has a tight snap for the mouth piece & keeps the contents HOT for more than 2 hours, minimum. Is it out there? I seriously doubt it.

We got 2 of these for my mother who is getting older and has some health issues. She really enjoys her hot chocolate, but after a couple of spills with regular cups, we needed something that would keep her safe, without having the feel of a child's "sippy cup" These are AWESOME! They have a nice adult look, the rubber ring prevents burning your hand when you remove them from the microwave, they're super easy to clean, even if the chocolate sits for a bit, and most importantly when the seal is closed properly they don't seem to leak at all, even when they are rather forcefully knocked over.

Nice size. Easy to clean. Good for the microwave. The lids suck. They slip off so easy. My husband calls them the adult sippy cups because that's the way they seem.

I thought this cup will keep the temperature of the warm/cold drinks for a little longer, but it's just a random plastic similar to those in the dollar store. Not worth it the price.

Travel mug leaks. I do not recommend this item.
