Unfortunately I did not open these until the very last minute and I had no choice but to use them rather then return them.. The sides SEEMED to be very well sealed but it's an illusion.After using them for a few days to ship I realized that the seams spontaneously rip open with about no pressure. I am awaiting the claims of empty envelopes Bubbles are absolutely flat (see pic in comparison to a piece of paper) and every one I have used so far does not have adhesive all the way across the lip of the mailer.. Terrible don't buy..Anything shipped with these will need you to bubble wrap the item and will most likely come out the sides of the mailer unless you reinforce the sides. Complete waste of money.

I did not have a high expectation for StarBoxes brand as I purchased one time before and returned but for this purpose I needed a bubble mailer for a punch that went inside of another package so was just looking for inexpensive cushioning. Well first, on one of the 10" sides, the bubble only go up 6.25" leaving 3.5" with no bubble padding, only poly. I put my punch in and the side split. The bubbles are so think it offered very little protection so not using for them. The strip covering the adhesive comes off so all the mailers stick together. The price was good but my expectations were low but this product is so ridiculous! Don't waste your money!

I like the poly outside to keep them weatherproof however, the bottom side seams aren't sealed leaving a 1-2 inch gap. The adhesive is spotty so the top doesn't fully seal either.

There is missing bubble wrap on the INSIDE of these mailers! Which makes them not effective protection for shipping items.

This is supposed to be #00 size which is 10x6; it stated they were 10x5, so I was prepared for it to be a little more narrow which wasn't an issue. However, these are actually only 8x5 - a full 2 inches shorter!! On top of that, the bubble wrap is so thin as to be practically non-existent. The closure is decent. One thing I am quickly learning that all of these mailers with the sort of dirty-white or dull grey color are of terrible quality and inferior products. If you happen to luck upon a batch from anybody that is a crisp white, they seem to be higher quality. My guess is one manufacturer is making all these low-quality inferior mailers and they are just being sold under various brand names. If you don't need the bubble protection and just care about the poly part and you don't mind them being WAY below both standard and stated measurements, then you will be ok. Otherwise, avoid these and save the money I have wasted. It gets two stars instead of one mainly because it has a decent closure and not all of them do.. It didn't used to be so hard to find a decent quality bubble mailer....

Literally not much adhesive. Not even enough for the mailer to close with a good seal. It's like paper with glue, you can easily peel it back off. We used a few of them, placed a small box inside the bubble mailer, removed the sticky peel, closed the envelope, and were easily able to open the envelope with no or very little effort. I can't imagine these envelopes being able to handle the mailing stress that all packages go through, traveling through miles of conveyors, and exchanging many hands before it gets delivered - peel will come off somewhere in between for sure. Very bad quality adhesive.

Good quality mailers. These come in a large box and are not individually packaged (so a large box with a few rows of mailers).Adhesive seems to hold up fine, bubbles on inside are strong and the outer layer is plastic.
