Respecting the M1 Garand. Or else!
I purchased an M! Garand that had a rubber cushion butt plate. I could hear the rifle's shame in this, so with this butt plate I should be rebuilding some of her self respect. Moral of the story: Don't be a pin head and try to sporterize these fine old military weapons. We "Purists" will find you...

Looks good, coloring is good, screws are the correct size and pitch. It won't pass for original but it looks great on a shooter grade Garand.
