After researching and confirming compatibility through Amazon, install was fairly simple. I did use the existing ribbon (cable) on the laptop to connect to the new power button board versus using the ribbon (cable) that was already attached to the new power button board. This was done to minimize the amount of access and movement within the laptop.

Worked like a charm! Was about to buy brand new computer but thought I'd try my hand at this repair. Not nearly as hard as I thought it would be. It works great!

In May, my HP Envy 360 wouldn't turn on. Thinking this was it's demise, I bought a Windows 11 HP Pavillion 360. After installing the necessary programs, I remembered seeing this replacement power switch. I ordered it, did a third "surgery" on my Envy and got my old friend back (the first was a new battery and the second was a new wi-fi card). The only problem is that instead of automatically going to sleep when I close the lid, I have to press the power switch so it goes into sleep mode and to wake it up, press it again. This is a minor thing to me. Figuring this is just with my PC, I gave it five stars anyway!

Part fit my computer perfectly. I have an HP Envy x360 u15-111u.

This is the second one of this type from two different sources and did NOT work as a replacement for the model specified. It is listed as a replacement part for the HP laptop I was working on but there are some slight differences. This WILL not work! Best to use an OEM replacement if you can find one.

easy to install - perfect fit

The power board is a great replacement part. Unfortunately, the cable was too short to reach from the power board to the motherboard. Poor description. I was able to use the cable that came with my computer to attach the power board to the motherboard. Computer is working great.
