If your looking for a flexible hose in this size that will stand up to some abuse, this is it! I have some irrigation issues around my home. I am using the 1 1/4" pvc (electrical underground type with one oversize end to connect ongoing sections), and this fits perfectly on the oversize end. I run a 16' section across a paved roadway to move the water from my pump across the road. I actually done something a step further and covered the entire 16' length with gorilla tape which helps protect it even more from the abrasive asphalt. So far, absolutely no leaks and cars drive over it each and every day. It may sound crazy to duct tape over it, but it will most likely give it far better life this way and the tape is holding up very well also. Do not buy that cheap, plastic junk as it will break, crack and leak almost instantly. This works well folks and I very highly recommend it, especially if your going to put it through the driving over with vehicles like mine is. As you can see in the photo, it's been ran over by vehicles countless times and looks very healthy and most importantly don't leak. as you can see in the other photo although it's reinforced, it isn't real thick, so I got the idea to add the gorilla tape to it to help protect it and all is working well. The section of hose you see in the photo has been out there and been ran over for months now, and NO issues whatsoever! I do indeed highly recommend this hose!

Sick of paying $30 for pool discharge hose that splits in a season. So I purchased this. I had already purchased the larger one for pool backwash. This one is on our little pump we use to keep water off the pool cover. You can look for the sun to bleach the color...but the big one is holding up great! I look for this one to as well. It will have an odor at first, but that will dissipate in a few days. Thank YOU for a quality product!

used this hose on a 12v RV macerator pump 100 feet away from a cleanout. It was a little longer than I needed so it was difficult to keep from kinking but worked correctly to do the job. had to be careful in how I laid out the hose as it does not like right angles at all. when I rolled it up after use it will fit into a 5 gallon bucket vs. a garden hose. Saves a lot of space for a seldom used item. I may switch to a 5 gallon storage plastic bag. I wouldn't leave this out in the sun full time as I believe it will degrade quickly but for an occasional use with a small easy storage profile it is perfect.

Hose kinks easily and restrict water flow if curved around a corner. Works fine if straight.

The media could not be loaded.  This hose is ready to work with, doesn't retain water or odors, and stores easily. The video shows this hose as the second hose in line from the macerator/pump. I am very happy with this hose.

When we bought our submersible trash pump to move water away from our orchard, a short hose and a special connector were recommended as a package deal. But we needed something long, durable and economical. I found the Schraiberpump 2-inch discharge hose, which will fit the pump's outlet perfectly. The 100-foot length and the strong clamps make it perfect for our use at a very reasonable price. Although we have not had it long enough to comment on its durability, it appears to be thick enough to work for us across many seasons. We're very pleased with this purchase.

The outside temperature this house is 2 inch not the inside. Will not fit on a 2 inch Barbed fitting.

Product was as advertised, and is performing better than expected. It’s light enough to easily store but durable enough that it should last for years. The light gauge vinyl hoses sold in pool shops usually don’t last a single season and are prone to twisting and bursting. This hose lays flat and doesn’t twist in use and is durable enough to withstand the pressures of any pool pump.

Was exactly what was needed did the job.

The hose is exactly as promised. It's heavy duty and definitely beats the old flimsy one that came with the pool. We've back-washed a couple of times and it's held up to the pressure. So far, so good.

It’s exactly 1-1/2 inch hose. That’s also the problem as it barely fits over the 1-1/2 connection. I had to cut 2 slits on pull with all my might to get it. But besides that it’s well made.
