If you are a natural brunette and struggling to embrace going grey, this review is for you….It can be a particularly difficult journey to transition to grey when you are a brunette (vs blonde). I have tried and failed so many times over the last 5 years. I tried 1) going platinum blonde, 2) trying to maintain blonde at home in the pandemic and accidentally frying my hair (!), 3) having to chop all my hair off after frying my hair (!!), 4) accepting the inevitable and embracing my new salt and pepper hair, but 5) changing my mind when I became a grandmother for the first time (it was a bit too much at once!) and applying a box of apparently temporary “semi permanent wash-out” brown hair dye, only to then find out it does not EVER wash out, even after trying every method under the sun to remove the colour, to then 6) FINALLY conceding defeat forever (or so I thought) and growing my grey hair in - albeit at a snail-like pace - over the past year and a half.But after all these ups and downs, in my heart I was still yearning to find a solution because I feel 20 years older than I am when I look in the mirror. I support all women who choose to embrace their grey and age gracefully, as well as those who choose to maintain their hair dye. It’s a very personal choice. I wish I was courageous enough to fully embrace my grey hair, and I will one day, but I’m not there yet. Even though I’m 49 this month, I still feel young and when I look at myself in the mirror I cannot reconcile the old woman looking back at me! Also, I am trying to make up for many years I have lost due to chronic pain preventing me from living life to the fullest.I provide this context because I struggled for YEARS to figure out a way to easily hide my greying brunette hairs without the need for constant hair dye and root touch ups. I lost so much hair length due to the number of times I had to “start over” after all the above failed attempts. With this in mind, I am so incredibly grateful I found this holy grail of a product. After just one treatment, I feel like my younger self again! And the results will get better with repeated applications. For my first treatment, after researching the best strategy on YouTube, I applied a liberal amount of the Mocha to my dry hair for 40 minutes, covered my head in glad wrap for good measure, and prayed to the hair gods that this stuff is the real deal that others claim it to be…. If you’re a middle aged female, you’ll be familiar with that anticipatory nervous excitement you get when a timer finally goes off and you step in the shower to wash out a new hair dye. You’re rinsing the dye out and wondering, with hope, just how amazing (or not) your hair is going to be when you step out and look in your mirror. Today, I finally took these steps and when I looked in the mirror I was gobsmacked at how amazing my hair not only looked, but felt! And this is just my first application. I can only imagine how amazing my hair is going to look and feel after repeated treatments!!The very first thing I did when I got out of the bathroom was order another bottle of this magical Clenditioner. I very, very rarely write reviews, but this product is so incredible that I have to write this in the hope that if this helps just one woman out there like me, then I have shared a bit of good in this crazy, messed-up world. So do yourself a favour and give it a try. I might even buy a few different colours so I can mix it up. But please don’t rush out and buy all the Mocha because I need this stuff in my life!Ps. Re the reviews stating it didn’t work on grey hair - it DOES work if you use the right method. Apply generously to DRY hair, leave it on under glad wrap for 40 minutes for your first application (but no more due to risk of allergic reaction), and repeat the process daily until you get the desired level of intensity and coverage.Update: After four sessions of colouring both dry and in the shower, the hue is more of a really dark grey with a tinge of purple, but I’m getting comments from people about how much they love my hair! So even though it’s not as brown as it was after my first use, I’ll definitely keep on using it and may even branch out to our colours. I’m thinking of trying Merlot next.

I decided to write this review in case my experience might help someone who finds themselves in a similar situation. I honestly didn’t know what to do. I was so embarrassed by the orange tones that I would wear a hat just to cover my hair. I also decided to take lots of before-and-after pictures so others could see the difference for themselves.I decided to bleach and color my hair at home, but the results were not what I expected. My hair turned orange with strong warm and brassy tones. I was so disappointed. I tried coloring it again the very next day, but it barely made a difference. Then I tried a blue shampoo, followed by another brass-neutralizing shampoo. They helped a little, but I still couldn’t get rid of the orange and gold tones.During all of this, I focused on keeping my hair healthy by using several deep conditioning masks while I waited a few weeks before trying anything else.After doing a lot of research, I came across Keracolor Color + Clenditioner in Mocha. I decided to give it one last try—and I’m so glad I did!I absolutely love the results. My hair feels incredibly soft, and I had virtually no hair shedding during the process. Best of all, it gave me exactly what I had been trying to achieve:✅ Removed the orange tones
✅ Neutralized the obvious gold/brassy warmth
✅ Kept the natural dimension in my hair
✅ Left me with a rich, salon-looking brunette colorIf you’re feeling frustrated because your hair turned too warm or orange after coloring and you don’t want to keep dyeing it, I highly recommend giving this a try. It gave me the results I had been hoping for without putting my hair through another round of permanent color.I’ve included my before-and-after photos because I know how discouraging it can feel when your hair doesn’t turn out the way you envisioned. Es una crema acondicionadora con COLOR yo tengo reflejos dorados amarillo no deseados (de mi coloración anterior) en una base moka, así que me quedó perfecto, neutralizo los dorados amarillos.Cuidado con dejarlo más de 5 min (yo lo uso al lavar mi cabello (usa guantes) puede dejar coloración verdosas en lo rubio o decolorado.Prueba con 2- 3 minutos máximo al inicio y a la siguiente lavada podrá ajustar la intensidad. U oscurecer.Se deslava rápido con las lavadas pero ayuda perfecto en lo que toca el retoque de color con el estilista. Y acondiciona perfecto.SI LO VOLVERÍA A COMPRAR.
