100 Books on Islam in English: And the End of Orientalism in Islamic Studies Paperback – January 1, 2015

This is a useful little book that provides interesting one to two line summaries books in Islamic Studies under several different categories. The author does not, however, appear to be up to date on the most recent literature out there, especially in fields such as Islamic Law. Nonetheless, the book is useful to get an idea of some literature that is available.
