Construction worker of 40 years. Loves it.
I’ m a mason. I have used the retractable type for a long time , but didn’t like how they jammed up with dirt and were bulky in the pocket. Then I splurged and bought one similar to this one. It clipped onto the inside pants lol pocket. Problem with them was the blades would come out/disingage while in use. Then I bought this Husky. Small, blade stays put, handy in my pocket, blade removes easily. One day I lost it, I was bummed and couldn’t find the exact same thing until I looked here on Amazon. I want this exact blade because it performs very well. I use it many times a day at work in very rough cutting conditions. For me, I panic if I can’t find it. Have it with me almost all the time like a cell phone lol. It’s a very good tool. Amazing how many times it comes it handy. Even to open feed bags, postal letters, cereal bags,to cutting flashing, sharpening pencils, cutting insulation, cutting roof shingles and more. Now I make sure I always have a spare.Love it cause it’s small, handy and blade stays in. Plus blade replaces easily and fast.

Girl pockets
The media could not be loaded. More comfortable/safer in my hand than standard size and fits in my front pocket, even the lame ones they put on ladies clothes, but it's not 'mini' or inferior. If you have big manly mitts it's probably too small though. I've run this through dirt to cut plants below ground, cut stuff i should have used a fixed blade knife with, all kinds of nonsense, but it's always done the job. I used it working retail and have opened and closed this thing so many times to open boxes in the years I've had it and it's only recent that it started getting loose. I tried to tighten it but I think the screws are gummed up so stopped trying. Easy to safely close with one hand if you press the button and use your thigh to close it. Easy to change the blade. 5 stars even though it wiggles now, I'm sure if I tried harder I could fix it.

Compact. Easy opening & closing. Easy blade replacement. Should have purchased this blade several years ago.

Smallest I could find
Excellent little knife. Comfortable in pocket!Love the slim design and short length when folded up. Durable enough for what its used for. Super cheap. Blade changing mechanism is safe assuming you keep the parts freely moving. Im sure if grains of sand got in there it might prevent the spring sliding lock from retracting into the lock position, just keep it out of the dirt and clean it once in a while.... and evaluate the sliding lock once in a while. Im pretty cautious with any tool, a quick inspection is standard during use.Unfortunately I lost the darn thing within 4 days. Had it clipped to my pocket and it must have been snagged on something. We have others at work that I use all the time so im pretty familiar with this.

Great utility knife that folds for pocket carry
This is a great knife and it's now my favorite small utility knife. I bought it to use as my EDC but soon discovered that the utility knife blade and head assembly wasn't great for opening envelopes along the fold. Boxes-YES, but not daily mail. For that reason I decided to get an actual pocketknife as my EDC. I'm a little disappointed with the moving parts for the blade changing mechanism. It is not a quick one button release like I have on a Husky folding utility knife I bought years ago. Maybe they don't make that anymore but I like that option better for the blade change-out. I would like to see Husky go back to that easy one push removal design, or one like it where you push one spot to release and replace the blade with the other hand.

Great compact cutter!
My father in law got this for me as an impulse buy and I'm so glad he did! It's so sleek and fits easily in your pocket! Love it so much I bought a second!

I wear XL gloves and I can get 4 fingers on it easily when it's opened
This utility knife is incredible. It's 1/3 the size of a regular one in length (when closed) and thickness. I wear XL gloves and I can get 4 fingers on it easily when it's opened. Its ergonomics are excellent and it uses standard blades. A new go-to desk knife. I am going to order a few more.
