Are the tiles wood or plastic?

The tiles are wooden, the bag that they are in, is burlap with a cotton cord drawstring, the board folds into four

Is the board full regulation size?

This was a gift so not personally used. As best I can remember it is standard, or close to, size. The fact that it's folded twice to fit in the "nostalgia tin" was a surprising disappointment, but as I haven't actually used it, maybe that's not a problems.

Does the board fit inside the tin box?

Yes, of course. It's a fold-up board and fits easily inside the collector tin.

What are the dimensions of the board? One of the reviews gives the impression that the size listed is actually for the tin box...

Hi there! Thank you for your question. Here are the weights and measures for this item: Collectible Tin (box) weighs 40 oz and Measures: 10.50 x 10.5 x 2.25 inches. Game board measures 15.25 x 14 x 0.125 inches when unfolded for gameplay, 7 x 5.25 x 0.50 inches when folded for storage. Letter tiles measure 0.75 x .6875 inches I hope that helps. Walter T.
