Named for our production manager in Hanoi, Private Reserve is our exclusive Vietnamese coffee blend. The finest beans available from Buon Ma Thuot are selected, and then roasted an blended with a little "weasel" coffee. The result is an almost creamy, mocha-like coffee that is perfect for those that prefer a smooth and slightly sweet beverage, with a little more body and 'crema' than traditional coffee. You will love it, and so will your friends! Satisfaction Guaranteed! 250 grams (8.8 ounces).

Delicious Coffee ++ Highly Recommended!
This coffee is really good. It tastes great and there is very little acid. It has an excellent aroma and has a nice full bodied taste. My daughter brought some of this coffee back from Thailand and it was so good I found it on Amazon and ordered it. The coffee was shipped quickly and the quality was just as good (and as fresh) as what was purchased in Thailand. I recommend this to anyone that enjoys a delicious cup of coffee.

Not the "signature" Vietnamese coffee.
This coffee is good, very good. But it is definitely not the one I fell in love while in Vietnam. It smells rich (chocolate) and it is rich in taste. But no the one I was looking for. Also doesn't work well with Vietnamese filter. It looks like it is grinded far from fine, but it is clogging Vietnamese filter and you can see lots of fine grinded dust in the coffee. Makes me wonder if they mix it with other coffee. I wonder about this just because I had bad experience buying Weasel Daily delight. First time was awesome coffee, second time it was mixed with really s***ty fine grinded light brown coffee and even smelling wrong. So I suspect some BS going on with supply of Weasel coffee. So far mixed up feeling about Weasel. Want to love it, but sometimes it is just not what it is supposed to be.

If your looking for a change of pace consider this coffee
This is a very smooth coffee. I did find there to be more than a hint of chocolate

Terrible, get Trung Nguyen instead
I usually get Trung Nguyen, but thought it would be nice to switch it up. This coffee is awful. Smells very stale and brews extremely weak with a bland stale taste. Like a bag of coffee that's been left open for months. Expiration date is Dec 2019, so I'm surprised it's so terrible.

Good Coffee.....
I had never had Vietnamese coffee. It was pretty strong but sooooo good. Did you know you can drink it hot or iced? Try it. You won't be sorry.

The real deal!
Was unable to find the Trung Nguyen brand so gave Mr. Phong a shot! Delicious! Exactly like the one you would get at restaurants. Beware as you actually need a lot more coffee than the Trung Nguyen brand. I usually use 6 tea spoon of this brand when I would use 3 or 4 tea spoon with Ntrung. So it gets quite expensive and you can’t really prepare more than 10 coffees total. That’s the biggest downside with this brand.

Muy rico
Sabor tostado, dentro del wasel un muy buen toque para el paladar

Medium bodied sweet coffee
Simply amazing, it tastes so much better when made in a french press, otherwise it loses its wonderful rich taste. There’s no bitterness to this coffee, it has hints of vanilla and strong notes of cacao

It's not 100% 'weasel' coffee, but it is very good indeed
I actually bought this product regardless of it being civet coffee or not - it still tastes like good, authentic Vietnamese coffee and to me, that's all that matters. I bought back several bags of different grades from Vietnam, and tasted a lot of varieties from different regions in my month there. In Vietnam, from coffee shops, you pay for different grades of coffee from different regions - the civet coffee being the most expensive. I took back some Moka beans, which verged on expensive, and some DaLat beans, which were about average. The Moka was notably more pleasant, and less bitter. I was curious to see if this coffee advertised would taste suspiciously like the DaLat beans but they sat somewhere between, if not on a par with the decent Moka beans. All in all, I'd buy again 100%, as I cannot think of where else you can get better tasting coffee for the money in the UK. It's a shame that you can only get the 8 pound beans if you buy something else from Amazon, or whatever the deal is, sadly 10 pounds a bag is too expensive to justify every day use for a student!Regardless, these beans are about 5 times better than the best varieties found in Whittards for even more money. And because of that it gets 5 stars, I just need to save up to go back to that wonderful country!
