Amazon Essentials Girls' Slim Boot-Cut Stretch Jeans

My daughter is almost 8, she's 51" (4ft 3 in) and about 60lbs. I got her a size 10 so she could wear them awhile. These fit perfect! A little big in the waist, but the waist is adjustable, so that's an easy fix. The length is perfect and they're super cute! I wanted to share pictures and measurements because I find them very helpful while online shopping. My daughter isn't much of a jeans-wearer, she prefers leggings, but she loves these.

These jeans are super cute, true to size, well-made, and comfortable! It’s been very hard to get my six-year-old to wear jeans because she prefers leggings for the comfort! She now prefers to wear these jeans over anything else!

I'm a 4'7" , 65 year old woman. Due to abdominal issues I needed jeans that give that extra something on the waist. I've tried on just about every brand of jeans ranging in size from adult/junior 6 to 12. If they fit on the legs the waist was huge. If they fit on the waist the legs and butt had enough room for me and a friend. I was resigned to wearing yoga pants and leggings with big shirts. My son mentioned that he loved the Amazon basics men's dress slacks, so I figured why not. First I looked at women's and juniors, and I knew from the measurements that I was still stuck. Then I remembered that about 15 years ago I'd buy girls pants (I was a size 12 in kids at the time) Looking at the sizes I knew a 12 was way too small, then I saw the 16 plus. With hesitation I bought them. Well glory be miss Agnes, THEY FIT. Comfortable, real jeans again. Sure, I have to take them up about 6 inches, but that's fine, not a problem. I'm just so happy to have real jeans again !!!

Got both darkest blue and next lightest wash and am very happy with the colour. As denim should be. Not that strange dirty black-blue or that obnoxiously brilliant blue-blue hue. Perfect. The fabric has stretch but is not overly thin. Not ruggedly thick either. The length on size 14 for my 5’1’ petite 105 lb proportionate frame (not long or short in torso or legs) is perfect, which is super hard to find as any short person will tell you. There is an adjustable button band at the inside of each hip if you’re looking for room to grow on a kid or are just more slender but need the length you can tighten down to still stay up.Huge Con- TINY pockets. TINY. Why??? These are perfect in every way except these silly ass minutely tiny pockets. If Amazon Basics is thinking girls don’t use their pockets for anything they’re delusional. WHO doesn’t use their pockets? And it just looks silly and ridiculous IMO.

My daughter usually wears a 6 but 6 is too short, 7s fit but are baggy and loose and just look like boy jeans on her. I ordered these in an 8 Slim and they are perfect! They are decent thickness and seem like good, durable jeans. Especially for the price! I’m ordering more now.

Super cute, have stretch, inside waistband. But these were large compared to other size 8 jeans. Seemed more like a size 9 but this could be cause they are boot cut. We ended up returning but i do recommend cause they are cute.
