If you need an affordable razor blade and hate using those cheap disposable ones then this is for you. In all my years of shaving I've never had such a smooth experience before until today and that's no exaggeration. The blades easily clip on and off the handle so replacing dulled blades is no problem. I've always had to worry about bleeding after a shave and compared to my previous experiences this one has left me with very VERY little in blood. Miniscule amounts. But it's left me with a very clear and smooth face. Overall I am very happy with this product. 5 stars.

As a 55-year-old man embracing the natural aerodynamics of a balding head, you might think my need for a top-notch razor is, well, minimal. But let me tell you, this 5 Blade Men's Razor with 15 refills is a game changer. Sure, my head doesn't have the luscious locks it once did, but the hair on my face? It's thriving, apparently to compensate. With each pass, this razor effortlessly glides through my beard like a Zamboni on ice, leaving nothing but smooth, kissable skin behind. My wife even mistook me for a younger man – she said it felt like kissing a marble statue. I’m not sure if that’s a compliment, but I’ll take it. The real kicker, though, is the 15 refills. I now have more razor refills than actual hair. I’m set until the next ice age, or at least until my grandkids start shaving. In summary, if you’re balding but still need a razor that performs like a luxury sports car, this is your best bet. It’s like having a midlife crisis but without the expensive convertible and more reasonably priced than other brand named razors. Four stars and a smooth scalp all the way. I deducted a star as I did not get as many shaves from one razor as I would from a brand name but as you get 16 razors in total, this is not an issue.

Because the handle has a good weight, the shaving felt very smooth. The razor with 15 refills is an excellent shaving set for men at a reasonable price. Since similar shaving sets in the market are quite expensive, I had been buying and using twin-blade men’s razors from the open market. Whenever I started shaving with those, getting cuts was common. But the Amazon 5-Blade Men’s Razor didn’t cause a single cut. It is designed in such a way that it moves easily in any direction, making shaving effortless.

Really good item. I’ve noticed reviews either tend to be “worst razor ever” or “best razor ever”, and not much inbetween. I think as most people go years without changing brands, and stick the 3/4 main ones (Gillette, Wilkinson etc) - it is always strange using a new product, especially something like a razor, and you will either love or hate it. I went from using a Gillette Fusion 5 blade for the last few years to this, and I was fairly impressed. It it as good as the Fusion? No. But it is less than half the price, and in life you get what you pay for. You can’t sell the Range Rover, then go buy a Peugeot, and complain because it isn’t as luxurious. For me, shaving every other day, it is fine. When shaving after leaving the face 4/5 days, it did feel like the razor was “pulling” a bit rather than cutting, but I think that’s me getting used to it - I didn’t want to press it too hard and cut myself. The head moves around to accommodate the face, same as the Gillette, and it felt a little looser than the Gillette, which felt strange, but the shave was just as good. Blades were sharp and no cuts or nicks. The only downer is the single blade on the other side (for precision / side burns etc) is quite simply rubbish. I never use this so I don’t care, but if you do use these bits of a razor, I don’t think you will be impressed. I just couldn’t seem to find the right angle to use it, and it is really hard to actually see it. The handle itself is solid and heavy and will last. Overall, this saves me a few hundred pounds a year, shaves fine, and is an Amazon-owned brand, so you know it’s safe and decent quality, so it does the job.

Well I thought I would give this razor a try as it seemed a good deal and worked out considerably cheaper than the Gillette blades I have used for years. There was my mistake. Cheaper almost always isn't better and this is one more example proving this. I'm a middle aged Man ( am I allowed to say that I'm a Male?) I have been shaving for more years than I want to remember, so I kind of have a bit of experience of doing this shaving malarkey. My usual routine is only shave when the Mrs is at home, so when she is away for a few days I don't shave. Nor do I undertake many other mundane tasks like cleaning or doing the washing up... I slob out and let the bristles grow for a few days. The usual 4 days of growth are firstly met with my Panasonic trimmer that reduces the bristle to a couple of millimetres followed by a shower and then a shave using Gillette Mach 3 blades. Job done, house cleaned, happy Mrs. However on this occasion and using the newly purchased razors things didn't go well. I could tell the blades were not the same quality a the usuals on the first stroke. The downward stroke from the ear to the jaw... It rasped... and that was downward! Ok, bad blade I thought and after fumbling for about 5 mins to get a new blade fitted I resumed. Nope, this was no better. I could feel it dragging and yanking at the hairs. Ok so lets wash off the foam and get some hot water and new foam applied. This was still no better and in fact it was starting to become painful. Upward strokes were just horrendous and despite my best efforts I was left with the worst shaving rash I have ever had in my life. The skin around my chin looked like a very bad case of eczema and I had to apply some of the Mrs facial cream just to cool it down. Well the whole lot has been given to the good lady. Her leg hairs are like silk anyway so she now has a lifetime supply of razors. Me? I'm back to Gillette, sod the cost! The Mrs and my face thank me!

Delivered on 10 May 2026 and started to use straight away. I changed my first blade on 23 June 2026. I shave my face every day and my head every other day. I have never had a razor that lasted this long. I can’t recommend it highly enough.

Handle has a quality feel. Blades are ok, probably not as sharp as my normal Wilkinson Sword Hydra 5, but adequate, especially considering the price difference £18 per 8. I also used them to shave my head, which worked ok. The only real area I struggled with, was shaving under my nose as the detailing blade is a bit cumbersome to use compared to my normal razor. Overall , I would rate as a 4, 3.5 for use and maybe 4.5 for value. I found the detailing

Man hat ja schon so einige Nassrasierer durch aber von diesem kann man nur begeistert sein. Der erste bei dem man sich nicht schneidet, ich hab es sogar mutwillig versucht um den Rasierer zu testen. Die Rasur dank der 4 Klingen ist sauber wie ein Babypopo. Wer diesen benutzt, benutzt keinen anderen mehr. Es müssen ja nicht immer die ganz teuren Markenartikel sein, wo man nur für den Namen zahlt. Die Klingen halten auch relativ lange und sind zahlreich vorhanden. Eine klare Kaufempfehlung fürs tägliche unblutige rasieren.
