AkebonoACT828 Proact Ultra Premium Ceramic Disc Brake Pad kit

I installed these Akebono ACT828 brake pads on the rear of my (US) 2005 Toyota Camry XLE 2.4L. This is my second set of Akebono pads, I really liked the performance and life. These pads are quiet and IMO have better stopping power than the original Toyota rear brake pads.My only suggestion to Akebono would be to double the amount of grease they give you in each box. I highly recommend these pads.

I finally got around to installing these brake pads onto my 2002 Toyota Camry LE V6 rear disc brakes.The package contents are as pictured: 4 pads (for two rear disc brakes) and 2 wear indicators to replace the original/worn wear indicators [these metal things "skate" on the brake rotor (producing a constant squealing/screeching sound) when the brake pads are thin and about ready to be replaced], plus lubricant/grease, and instructions. Only time will tell how well these pads perform. I have already been driving with Akebono proACT pads in the front for a few hundred miles and the performance is at least OEM (nothing more, nothing less), so I expect these pads to be up to OEM par as well. I'll update later down the road on how low-dust these pads really are. I'm a satisfied customer - Thanks Amazon & Akebono!

Solid Brakes that you can tell are made with premium materials. It was as if the brake material was housed in hard enamel. Had a very solid feel to it.Didn't come with any backing plates or clips.

Very good product. No noise at all and the bite is very linear from initial through heavy braking. You can really predict where you will stop. Especially if you're driving passenger such as uber or lyft, this is the product for you.

Not too much to say. I put these on my 2004 Camry 2 years ago and they've held up very well. Highly recommend, I'll certainly buy a second set...if the first set ever wears out...which I'm not so sure they will. It appears they're permanent ;)

I installed these pads on the rear of my 2000 Toyota Avalon XLS and they went on great. Very high quality and I should be very impressed with their long lasting performance. They have only been on my car for three weeks and so far they have performed great. Time will tell.
