Occidental Leather 5012 Premium Tool Holder

I love this holster! I have quite the sway to my walk and my hammer follows suit. I bought this holster on my boyfriend’s recommendation since we’re both in construction and I am not disappointed. It sways a little bit when I’m walking around but doesn’t whack me in the back of my legs like it did with my old holster. Would highly recommend to anyone who’s in the construction/carpentry business. Hammer easily slides in and out of ring (as long as it’s not a rubber framing hammer) 2 thumbs way up for this product!

I've used the same one for the past 30 years. It's still in usable condition but wanted to get another one in case they become unavailable. I highly recommend this holster, it fits well the poop doesn't lock your hammer as you try to slide it out, it lays well on your hip or ass and doesn't curl if it gets wet..... Very high quality and worth every cent.

Chrome plating on the ring is not very durable

I build boathouses on the lake and use the Occidental products almost daily. Having all items separate allows me to configure my work belt for what I am doing that day. Been doing this 18 years and there is no other product like this on the market. The only thing I miss from other inferior toolbelts is a strap over the tape holder. You will not be disappointed!

I bought it because I wore my old one out. This one looked like it was constructed pretty well and I guess it is.the problem I ran into is the meatal loop is to small to easily get my hammer in and out. If you do any framing you know what I mean you don't want to fight to get your hammer out. Or miss the loop when overhead.I had to remove the metal loop it was to small and make a new larger loop and re-rivet back and then re-stichthe leather back together.If I didn't have the shop and the equipment to make another larger loop I would have sent it back.

Worth the price if you are a carpenter. My husband is a master carpenter and his belts and attachments must be comfortable, practical, and last for as many years as possible. He still uses a hammer and not just nailguns. A DIYer would shriek bloody murder if I they knew how much he spent on his whole belt... it's not for them. It is for pros. A friend also got suspenders for his belt made by the same company. Good way to tell if your contractor is serious is to see what kind of tools and equipment they use...

Most definitely the best there is , it’s that simple, arrived a week earlier than expected, which was a bonus
