No seriously this thing is awesome, it being the first plasma arc lighter I have ever used I have to say I am absolutely sold on the tech, this thing lights candles, papers, wood, in seconds, obviously the bigger the thing the longer it takes to light but its so cool how this just works with the flip of a switch!The build quality is solid, aluminum, metal, and a satisfying slick when you activate it, it also has a power cutoff switch that not only helps stop passive battery drain but doubles as a safety mechanism so it can't accidentally go off while being stored or transported, very well thought!There is one reason I chose this one over the other options however, and that's the USB-C port!This is currently as far as I know the only USB-C plasma lighter you can buy, I looked and looked on amazon and every other one I could find was Micro USB. Battery wise I think its top tier! Even though I only used it for 2 days the battery is still on 4 bars, not that charging will be a problem though, like I said its USB-C and I could literally grab any USB-C cable I have laying around and charge this thing, I have noticed it is a bit picky with the type of charger though, so make sure you read the instructions for what type of charger you can and can't plug it into.Now for the questionable stuff... they offered a extended warranty if I registered the product, that sounds great in thought... but I'd rather not do that. You see I've had a bad experience every time I've registered anything for a extended warranty, usually after registering I end up get spammed with marketing emails or telemarketing phone calls, which is not ok or cool at all.Now this could be the seller/manufacturer being sincere and offering a warranty because they want you to be happy should anything happen to the product they sell you, however due to the questionable nature of how other sellers on amazon have acted when offering extended warranties, I have to advise caution here. Personally I turned down the offer for the extended warranty because I think the product is well built and shouldn't fail any time soon.To end things off I'm very happy with this plasma lighter and might be buying another one in the future because its so handy and way easier to use than messing with butane or refilling liquid based lighters.

I bought this lighter primarily to light candles with and it works very well, it was charged out of the box and I have had it for a few weeks now and have not needed to charge it yet after lighting candles with it everyday. Other electric lighters have gimmicky switches where you have to press the button three times to turn on the lighter or something like that, this one is very straight forward, you flip on the ON/OFF switch then you use the slider in the middle to light the "flame", if the unit is on for too long and not in use it will shut off, which is a nice safety feature. Unlike, a regular lighter though it does not become hotter the closer you get to the "flame" only when you touch the "flame" itself will it actually light things and it works very quick, it looks like it lights my candles almost instantly, this is perfect little lighter for candles and it also seems like it would work great fireworks.

The media could not be loaded. This is a really cool and easy to use candle lighter, but not much else. I have tried lighting a fire for a fire pit and I found it rather difficult and time-consuming to get the fire starting material to light. However, it lights candles quickly and it's neat to watch.It has great safety features such as an on/off switch. That also allows it to save battery life for long-term use without the need to charge it constantly. It has a 7 second run time which provides good safety and also improves battery life, but it can also be annoying if you need it to run longer. And the switch is nice because you don't have to hold it into position for it to light; it stays in place.I like that this is made out of metal. It feels premium and high-quality. It is really awesome that it uses usb c to charge instead of micro usb like most other electric lighters (usb c is just better.). It also comes with a really high-quality cable. They could have just thrown a cheapo usb c cable in the box, but they didn't, which makes this product even more worth it. The packaging was top-notch. It made the product feel premium even though it was like $16. Lastly, I like that there is a loop at the end so that it can be hung somewhere out of the way.Overall, this is a fantastic, premium $16-$20 lighter that can only light candles successfully, which is what it is advertised to do.

Que no tengo que comprar nuevamente encendedores para la estufa, ya que éstos se acaban muy rápido y con éste mechero sólo compro una vez y no me vuelvo a preocupar por comprar otro.

Briquet très pratique et très utile, fini les brûlures de doigts avec les briquets traditionnel.Au top, j'en ai déjà acheté 3 autres que j'ai offert tellement c'est génial.Je recommande fortement.

Tolles Feuerzeug. Ich benötige eher selten ein Feuerzeug, größtenteils für Kerzen, usw. Daher gefällt mir die Lösung ein Feuerzeug zu besitzen, welches ich aufladen kann. Das Geräusch beim Anschalten ist etwas fies, aber damit kann man leben. Optisch ist es schön schlicht. Alles in allem kann ich es weiterempfehlen!

great lighter for anyone with candles.

After using it about ten times, it was not able to charge anymore so I had to throw it away. Doesn’t feel that sturdy as well. Disappointing purchase.
