Works with no issues for holding all my PS4 games saved data

1 year later - works as advertised. PS5 compatible. Stores games quickly and easily via USB port. PS5 can store AND play PS4 games directly from the drive. The drive can store PS5 games, but they cannot be played from the drive (if that's what you need, then get an extended SSD drive). PS5 games have to be moved back to console's memory to play.

Would give this 0 stars if I could due to the false advertising. This was advertised as being compatible with PS4 and PS5. To call it "compatible" is a joke. You can connect the drive but good luck if you want to store ANY PS5 games as you are unable to. I can only download and play PS4 games onto this drive (aka worthless as I have PS5 games). Extremely disappointed. If you advertise as "compatible for PS5, then actually make it USABLE for PS5 games. If you're like me, save yourself the hassle and do not buy this if you own a PS5. If you just use PS4 games, you should be fine.

The hard drive works great for storing and playing ps4 games. Do not get if you plan on storing and playing ps5 games. This will not work. You can store ps5 games but cannot play them.

You can store and play ps4 games smoothly using the storage but you can only store the ps5 games you can’t play them, if you want to play the ps5 games you will have to transfer it back to the console Storage. i recommend it for PS4 Games only.
