Right tool for the job
Does what it’s supposed to. Makes it easy to set the traps. Do recommend painting them a contrasting color to the environment. To keep from losing them if you set them down while setting traps. Personally I tie a piece of flagging tape to them.

Takes care of predators
Easy to use and does exactly as it says it will do. These traps are taking care of my predator problems.

Must have for Duke D.P. trap
If you own a Duke Dog Proof (DP) coon trap, you will DEFINITELY need this tool. To both set it and to release the coons paw when caught. Also the trap itself works awesome, just too high priced here in Amazon. The trap usually goes for around $15.00 for a single trap, and less than that if bought in bundles. One last thing, I would recommend painting it a bright color in case you lay it down beside the trap..

Well worth the money!.
Trap setting groves should be deeper to keep from slipping off. It still works but would feel safer with a more firm hold. Made good , much better than a screw driver.

Makes setting duke dog proof traps EASY!

Perfect
Couldn't set the dog proof raccoon trap without a trap setter. Another unit cost over $43. Bought this one for about $16. Same item from Amazon.com was $6.25. Excellent tool.

It makes setting trap easier
My husband ordered after we received the trap. As a 70 year old he found setting the new traps a 2 man job, however after ordering this tool it has made the job a one man job.

I have a few traps from this company some of which are so hard to set I can’t even set them including the ones that’s tools meant for I do have to say once I bought the tool it was very very easy had them all set under a minute if you do buy the traps the stools meant to go along with definitely buy this tool
