These lights look stunning but they smell so bad! Hopefully these will air out over time but other than the putrid Oder they’re gorgeous

It was difficult to rate this item because the picture and description on Amazon are so misleading.The set of lights has much bigger, different leaves - similar to traditional wild British ivy in dark green (the sort of thing you see growing in old churchyards). I was expecting smaller, heart-shaped leaves in yellow and green.The lights in the photograph appear to be embedded discreetly in the stem of the ivy plant, whereas in fact they are separate on a copper wire which you have to wind around the plastic stems. I have recently purchased a set of lights where the lights are embedded in a proper electrical cord, and it looks rather more professional than this, so my assumption was fair, I believe.I do not think the product is good value for the price at £11.99 - this is more like a cheap market purchase.However, I agree with the other reviewers - this is actually a very attractive item. It looks lovely when it's set up and alight. I shall keep it for Halloween, since it's not suitable for the spring-type decoration I had in mind.Suitable for those who want a large, dark-leaved decoration with tiny white lights.

I used this product to add a bit of light, greenery and a sense of magic to my room, and worked! I didn't give it 5 stars because the leaves are a little bit larger than I thought, and the wires for the lights are quite delicate and look as if they could break easily. The case for the batteries also feels delicate, so be careful opening and closing it. Overall I would have paid a little less for this if I could have done.

They are very cute, there are a golden colour in light, love them. They are gonna make my insta feed cuter and my bedroom has some green in now!!Only downside is they came and smelt of fish?! Like very strongly smelt of raw fish, bit strange. I have sprayed them many times with detol and its not done much. Hopefully sented candles will help alleviate this.

These work and look nice around my daughters bed. Up close they do look cheap and flimsy though. The battery compartment is very flimsy and feels as though it may break easily, however they do work and suit bed wrapped around the bed.

Leaves are much bigger in person and generally not very much like the picture. The wire and ivy vine do not come woven together as pictured but rather attached at intervals with the occasional twist. There is no remote, rather a standard string light battery pack, but I had expected as such so I'm not sure why 'remote' is a category!Unfortunately, mine arrived with a split in the ivy vine. Not particularly impressed. It looks nice enough placed as I had intended it and I would rather just tape it and put that side behind something than send it back for it to end up in landfill, but quality is clearly an issue, as is the stock photos' accuracy.

Nice product for the price ! The light are working well.The only bad thing is the smell of the face leaves that took a long time to disappear
