I purchased thee retainers to hold my sunglasses tightly on my head when swimming in the ocean for vacation this year. It probably took about 4-5 minutes to get the sunglasses into these straps but they did eventually fit in the end. There was definitely no worry about the glasses coming off of these retainers. The downside is that I am not going to take the retainers off any time soon, so I end up walking around with dorky , beachy looking retainers when I am nowhere near the beach. Of course having multiple pairs of sunglasses means that is not too big of a deal ;-)The strap size is large - very large so you do end up with quite a tail down the back of your neck when you are wearing the glasses tight on your head, but the ball clasp is easily adjustable, slides up to lock the glasses firmly on your head and easily released when needed. I had no worries about the glasses falling off in the sea but I wouldn't trust it to keep the glasses on while wrestling, loosing badly and being in a headlock, but who does that?As the strap is large, it does mean that the glasses can rest on your chest from the strap when you hang them around your neck as opposed to a shorter strap that could leave you garroted by the glasses digging into your neck.My wife says I look dorky wearing these - you certainly don't look as cool when you wear these compared to just the glasses and the bright red does make them stand out - but on the other hand there is no way you are going to loose your glasses - either from the falling off, or on a messy counter top as they stand out really well!

I have used these for years while boating, rafting and fishing on the river while wearing Oakey Sliver, Flak and Crankshaft glasses. They work great holding glasses on your head, and if they do happen to fall overboard, the bright red color makes it easy to find your glasses floating on the surface. A small price to pay for protection of expensive eye wear.

I have a pair of Ray Ban Wayfarers Lightforce. The end strap was a bit snug when putting on the glasses... so snug that I thought I was going to break my glasses as I tried sliding it on. I recommend to slide on very carefully with much support on your glasses. If possible, stretch Croakies on something more robust. Once I got it past the fat end part of the glasses it fit nice.I took these to Hawaii recently and wore them the entire time, both in and out of the water. This Croakie easily supported my glasses in the water. My glasses would've sunk if it wasn't for these guys. I also used the ring to tighten them around my head when in the water. Kept my glasses on my head most of the time. I will definitely use these again, especially around the water. Only complaint is wish they had more color options on here.

Let's face it. If you were planning on not looking like a nerd you would have chosen another product. Maybe the way to look the coolest is the forgo the strap all together and just squint when you lose your glasses. The black float on the back is slightly under represented in the photo but not to the degree of some of the reviews. Product performs as expected. Kept my shades from the bottom of the lake. Depending on the weight of your glasses you may be able to remove the black float but I am sure the company would not recommend it.

Bought these for my husband and I when we traveled to the lake. Anticipated being able to use them on the boat and on the waverunner. They were great for my husband's prescription sunglasses because he has the wire frames and these were a bit narrow of an opening. They would have torn up my Oakleys though because they have the part that goes around your face and onto your ears (the word escapes me at the moment) is rubberized; therefore, couldn't get the Croakies to go over the rubber part because of the friction. I probably just needed a wider set of Croakies for the Oakleys.

A little cheap feeling but it does the job. Will fit just about any head and you can adjust the fitting to keep it snug if it has too much slack. Floats well too with the shades attached. Took it out on my jet ski all the time and haven't had any issues yet

VERY challenging to get these on my sunglasses, so if your glasses have a large ear piece, you may run into similar difficulties. That being said, that is my only con. They are comfortable and due to the con, I am not worried about this accidentally getting pulled off.

Bought this so I wouldn't lose my glasses at the Waterpark this summer. I knew I'd need to go on all of the water slides because I went with my grandkids. We all had a great time and my glasses stayed on through everything we did. It fit great, easily adjustable and although it has the flotation device attached, I didn't need to try it. I did float it in the sink at home and it did float. It came packaged new and arrived quickly.

Ich habe eine Brille mit Kunststoffrahmen und da hält das Brillenband ohne zu verrutschen.Wenn man das Band eng einstellt, kann man mit der Brille sogar tauchen. Natürlich muss man beim Auf- und Abtauchen vorsichtig sein, dass die Brille nicht dennoch wegflutscht. Aber dann sinkt die Brille wenigstens nicht auf den Grund hinunter, sondern schwebt an oder knapp unter der Wasseroberfläche.Von mir eine ganz klare Kaufempfehlung!
