Q: Does this inlcude the rope to hang it?

It did not come with a Ratchet strap you will need to tighten to the tree

Q: Can you Hang this from a ceiling?

I don’t know if it is strong enough to do that. It works great as an elevated crawl tube.

Q: is it 6' or 8' in length?

Ours is 9 feet from ring to ring.

Q: Is 12' between trees enough space to adequately ratchet?

Yes 12' is enough space to ratchet i bought the blue one and i had over 12' and it worked well .
