A Mouse Called Wolf

Delightful. Very fun to read. Enjoyed by all ages. I've read it to many of my school children. They love listening to it. I personally love this book since I am music teacher and the theme is a musical one. Five stars for sure.

This was on several homeschool reading lists. We haven’t read it yet but the description sounds good. And I know you aren’t supposed to judge a book on its cover but the cover is really cute

“Awesome!” Read this to my 5-year old and he loved it. Very wholesome with some nice humor for little kids.

She was almost 6 when we read this book and sat cuddled up with me for as long as I would keep reading. For a normally very active girl this was a sure sign of her interest. The book is, of course, pure fantasy, but the emotions expressed both of intimacy and concern are real enough. King-Smith does a good job of blending realtiies of life with his fantasies.As an aside, the layout of the book and the fonts and font sizes used made the book a pleasure to read from. The illustrations are also quite nice, simple, and appropriate.

I read this to my five year old and we loved it. Such a cute story.

'A Mouse Called Wolf' was on my two preschoolers kindergarten reading list. This was a nice story, but it wasn't amazing, just nice.

Our 5 year old daughter really enjoyed this story being read to her. As an adult I enjoyed it too, the plot being interesting and different from anything else I've read. I think this will be a story to return to again and again.

a wonderful story about an old lady and a singing mouse. really tugged at my heart strings and gave me a warm glow inside. couldn't wait til bedtime each evening to read some more to my son

I really enjoyed this book because I like music and animals. The story started slow and got quicker and was really exciting by the time I had finished. I would recommend it to girls who like music and small animals. It is my favourite Dick King-Smith book!
