Rods appear to be value for money, however, despite having experience with oxy-acetylene and arc welding I could'nt achieve a successful result. The rods when applied to heated surface did not melt as advertised . May have had a faulty batch of braising rods

Waste of money i tried these on good quality clean aluminum as a test before carrying out a real repaire they do not work. Tried using propane and map gas torch

I was very disappointed with these. The main body of aluminium started to melt before the rods did and ruined the job. I won't be buying any more of these.

Was not as described. Heated the work to excess of 450 degrees. The rod would not melt when applied.Used a similar product from another supplier and worked as required.

don't do what they should even with small jobs

Would not recommend this product.Would return to you but have used so many rods trying to achieve a strong joint.Don’t waste your money
